Loved Wayne hollering back at you after the cat sneezes!! Your WIPs are faboo, and your designs are just beautiful!!! Always love when you have time to pop in for a bit of weirdness. 😘😘😘😘
Thank you Ellen for the scam alert....I did run into that from another floss tuber. It was too weird. I also love your Raven pattern...very original. See you soon.
The Zimmerman Coverlet cushion is beautiful! I really need to stitch it....and about 487 other things my brain claims it needs, including your new designs. So much wonderful stuff to keep me busy!
The sneezes were too funny- I made my husband come & see that. He’s a super loud sneezer. His wind-up to the sneeze is louder than the actual sneeze. Apologies to the neighbours. Our next door neighbour is a drummer on youtube - he’s really good too. How did you come up with your cats names?? If I could have cats I would 100% go with names like those. 🤗🤗🤗 I couldn’t believe I heard you say my name!! Its so awesome to win one of your designs, thank you so, so much! I’ll email you shortly with my choice. There are a few that really call to me, the Raven one is amazing - I think I could tackle the Smyrna stitches but I’m a bit intimidated by the plaid raven - caw caw! The Tea Time is super sweet, that snowman perching on a stump is too sweet 🥰. And the one inspired by the tea cozy stitch is nice, I like the family inspiration. Oh dear, it’s going to be hard to choose… I hope you’ll be able to post more often, it really brightens my day to watch your videos 💖 I’m looking forward to your February release! Please give the kitties a little butt scratch from me.
Yup a TO storm sounds like a Wednesday in MB! I just knew you were going to relate it back to MB. Great finishes. Good to know that the pompom finishing is a bit of a challenge!
Your finishes and WIPS are all beautiful. Love the Jeanette Douglas piece, and Sarah Brazier looks amazing. Your designs are lovely. The one you did on the high count fabric is perfect on it, as the design has a daintiness to it. And the raven one is such fun. Take care, safe travels and happy stitching.
I use to have an old embroidered cover. I put it over my Kitchen aid mixer…until I got rid of the sucker because I never used it. I wonder if your’s is for a mixer. A snow storm sounds wonderful! Happy stitching! Xoxo
Yes a few have mentioned it might be for a mixer, and my grandmother would have used hers a lot. This one doesn’t look like it was ever used, but who knows!🤷♀️ Say hi to your pups!🙂🙂
I'm sorry to hear you've been having the winter blues. I can totally relate. Hopefully getting out on the road will help lift your spirits! I'm thinking that the piece your grandmother stitched might be a decorative kettle cover. 🤷♀ Aww, Dawnamaw!! :)
If i did a flosstube I would put your sneezing performance at the end. Margaret Beattie on 56 is beautiful and impressive. Even more amazing is your padded satin stitching on Sarah Brazier 🤩 Love the little dragon. and the pretty girl pillow 😍 and and and Oh yeah, the Zimmerman Coverlet pillow. All a little demoralizing as I snail stitch. But you being your superstar self is what we all love. xx, Tricia
Thank you so much. Snail stitching is still stitching- keep in mind I stitch all day. Once I’m back on the road I’ll have much less progress. My sneezing is really the only delicate thing about me. 😂😂
Thanks for another awesome video Ellen!! Your releases are just beautiful, my favorite being the Ravens at Castle Kerr (corvids are the best!). I actually just started designing my own patterns too, it's been such a fun process! 💚
Ellen you’re so sweet I’m sorry that you’re having the January blues. I live in the Valley of the Sun ☀️ Peoria Arizona which is just a few miles west of Phoenix. So I’m sending you lots of Arizona sunshine! You are incredibly talented don’t stop stitching and designing take care!
Your Margaret Beattie stitch is enchanting. So much prettier than what we see on the picture. Love your new charts especially Dorothy's vase. It feels very Art Deco to me so I had better snatch it up. Bless you! Bless you! Bless you! Bless you! Bless you! Bless you! Bless you! Bless you! Bless you! Whew. Exhausting. 😂😂😂
Hi Ellen. I love your new releases! 🎉 Your inspiration for the 1930s piece, could it be a chair cover? It looks like something slipped over the top of a wood chair. Just a guess. Happy stitching!
Excuse me..... this was a very good floss tube. Initially, I was worried that you had gone mainstream, business-like, etc but then the crazy started and I was delighted. Glad to hear about your 'wife of the week' and 'bit on the side'. Love your new designs and am looking forward to stitching the crow and castle one and the urn.......already forgot their names. Yikes !! that's on me, though. I especially loved the piece with all the satin stitching. You're my hero and I am excited to see it finished. Stay safe.
I love your Sarah Brazier, she is so beautiful. Your Vintage Birds is exquisite. All of your finishes are so pretty. I love all your new designs. Thank you for a wonderful update. Happy New Year!
Funny video! Enjoyed it much! Loved the new releases. May have to go over to Evertote and look at the paper patterns and floss sets! Looking forward to meeting you at Stitch North! Wish you were coming to Texas on your tour. Hopefully some time in the future!
Glad you are back with a new FlossTube - missed your brand of crazy! And your beautiful stitching too, of course. That padded satin stitch is impressive!❤
Your new designs are beautiful! Maybe the antique stitched piece is to cover a chair back? Hard to tell how big it is but looks like it could fit a small kitchen chair. I'm excited to stitch your design inspired by it : )
Thank you I hope you like stitching it! I think it might actually be a cover for a mixer? Hmm. Not sure now. 🤔 Thanks for watching and happy stitching!!🙂❤️
I'm so sorry, this was not the point of your video...but I laughed so hard I cried and I really needed that today. You are such a joy to watch and just so real. Between the sneezes and the narrated floor search and the cats it was just great. Thank you for making my day, and for showing your beautiful stitching to boot.
Your finishes, especially the Sarah Fraser and Jeannette Douglas are exquisite! Love your patterns. You are also hysterical! Really enjoyed a laugh this afternoon during the snowstorm here in Barrie.
I enjoy watching Anna at Stitch Roadie as well. I love listening to her stories and I also enjoy her words of wisdom. Your new designs are really lovely.
My kitties, Pete and Repete, loved hearing Fiona and Wayne talking in the background! You new releases are really cool! Loving your dragon and can’t wait to see it finished! 🐈
