Oh that Sheltering Tree is really cute, isn't it! It looks like it wouldn't take that long to stitch...famous last words! Oh yes, treat yourself to some toad lilies. I bet they would do great in a woodsy environment. I got mine at a garden center, and you can get seeds, but the seedlings are very tender and need lots of protecting before transplanting. I transplanted way too early.

They are beautiful Such a beautiful finish, where flowers bloom looks fantastic Amelie was my favorite movie for the color palette and the oddness of every character OMG! You remember Amélie! LOL I knew folks would know exactly what project I was talking about. I haven't thought about that movie in so long and it popped into my head with the first stitch that I put into version 6. I used to teach a French language class planned around that film. It's a great film for spotting off-the-beaten-path sites in Paris. I need to rewatch it now.

Those bobbins are beautiful, such pretty painting on a small surface. I also like how you chose the floss by names, I enjoy seeing what many of the overdyed floss are named. I generally find stitching houses boring so that was a great way to make the project yours with the names

@@headheartandhandwork9602 Everyone's getting Artsy Fartsy! And she keeps putting out more fantastic patterns! The stitches are so think but I kind of like that, you know, with three strands on 28 count. For some projects it actually looks really great to have that texture. And it's SO easy on the eyes!
