@@marleenoceanbreeze6510 I so need to finish that poor Wilbur! I don’t think he wants to be in a project bag any longer. Then again, once he is finished, he will probably end up under the bed. Lol.
Bless you, Laura, you're so brave to go off your meds and to tell us about it! Sending you a virtual hug right now. Love your green shirt. I'm happy to add more fabric strips any time, just let me know. I'm really enjoying your country road sign piece, and First Snow. And they're both smallish, so could be finishes sooner rather than later? The new purchase, purple sky with bird, has hanging winged seeds. The dark ovals are the seeds and the attached paper 'wings' help the seeds fly (float) away from the parent tree. Pine cones have those seeds too. If you look inside an open cone you should see some still in there. Could the new pattern with the 'iceberg' sky be stitched on printed cloud fabric? Just stitch the birds in the sky and call it done? Love the cottage with the mossy roof and chickens in the garden. I enjoy your shop tours and hope you do another one some time. You show things I'd never come across by myself. I'm going to send you a screenshot to look at... Thank you for the lovely visit. It was shorter than some, so I might go back and watch your WIP parade again 😁🤣. See you soon! ⚘️ PS: I'd join you in a SAL.
Thank you for a lovely home visit ☺️ Sending hugs for those times that feel tough 💜 You’ve been making so much progress! I like the idea of events like abcingo I just don’t have enough wips to cover all the letters 😅 With the “iceberg” pattern I was thinking it could easily be cropped at the top and still be a beautiful piece. Plus a bonus of getting finished faster 😜 Happy stitching and I look forward to the next visit ☺️🪡✨💜
Thanks for the visit, I love getting to see your beautiful smile and your equally beautiful stitching. The stitch along next year sounds like a brilliant idea, I am definitely interested.
@@rachaelclack3223 I am so glad you enjoyed the visit, despite me being a bit all over the place. lol. I definitely need to start making a plan for the stitch along. It would help me keep focused with stitching each month, which would be great!
@@lindaanderson5898 Thank you so much!!! I kept trying to think of what tree has those and knew that it wasn’t something I see every day. I think I have probably only seen one maple tree in my life! Lol. I am so happy you enjoyed watching! Gosh, I had a lot to share this time… felt like I wasn’t going to stop talking. 🤣
My friend, you are stronger than you believe. Each one of us have something that we are fearful of trying. After my stroke, I was fearful of crowds as I had a hard time managing my movements. Chin up, shoulders back and enjoy Saturday.🥰
Thank you Laura! It has been a great visit 😊🌺🌸🌺🌸 Getting over Covid. I slept 22 straight hours yesterday. I have a problem sleeping usually, I hope this isn’t a sign. So many floss tubes, so little wake time😊
My heart goes out to you concerning your anxiety and bad dreams. I don’t often have bad dreams but I do deal with some anxiety and insomnia. I do understand those feelings. I will keep you in my prayers as you deal with this. I always love seeing what you are working on and what new stash you have. I do always notice a definite joy and lightness in your voice when you have been to you stitch group, so it does seem to be a good thing for you to do. Take care and I will be here for the next video whenever you feel up to it. Hugs………………..
Hello Laura. I always enjoy hanging out with you while you talk about our favorite hobby. Thanks for sharing those beautiful art pieces. They would stitch up so nicely. See you next time. Take care.
Frustration is real. I see you and it is not weird. (Sadly, x) Would be nice if fewer of us recognise ourselves in what you talk about). This week I have had three days after work where I either been staring into the wall or sleeping away all evening and night. -I don't get my stitching done *grumble grumble* Oh well... I should probably give another shot at trying to get the medicate system to help me but that involves phone calls (ugh) and if I am unlucky, another doctor that seems to know absolutely nothing (ugh. At least the nurses are professional). Anyway.. I been thinking on you when I been looking at the new market releases and seen new (funky) bird patterns. X) The leaves are starting to turn yellow here in ol' "scandinavia" so I am hoping to see some more of your russian autumn patterns. Look so much like where I live, some of them. X) Nothing wrong with buying happiness. I am myself planning to go to a sort of craft faire next weekend. 🕊️ Eta; I googled, the seeds could make it a lehmus / lind tree.
I was looking for your video last night, but what a surprise this morning. I like to watch you and your cute giggles. So sorry you feel this way. Just remember, that craft is the best medicine. I think you need to create more videos, so you feel not alone. Do some WIP and chat videos (i do it every day) at least once a week. Love your stitch work and i am wishing you the best. Cheers from Canada . Nataliya
@@HecatesNeedle-ei6xj Ah, that bunny!!!! It really doesn’t have that many stitches, so hopefully it also won’t take too many sessions to get finished. It will come up once more in abcingo and I am going to try give it some extra loving then, too.
Hi Laura . The " thngs " hanging under the branches are wing type seeds . don't kno wwhat ttype as there are a few trees tthat have seeds this . Beautiful pattern .
I immediately said Sycamore! but after seeing your comment I had to google to see what other trees had helicopter seeds. Wow. The Norway Maple and Field Maple are so gorgeous with their red and pink tones on the wings. So happy to have seen them! Thank you for that! Google says there are four winged-seed trees in the UK, but the Ash has only one wing. So I still say Sycamore.
The pattern "eat your greens"... where did u get that design? Who made it? I would love to find to add to my pattern stash to make to hang in my kitchen 😊 Happy stitching! Love all the projects u chose for abcingo! U got so much progress 🐈⬛🪡❤️
home visit hugs to you. ❤ I am delighted when you enter my home. I wish you were closer( I am in California), I would love to stitch with you. I find your stitching amazing and love your choice of projects because they aren’t samplers!😂 keep the faith, you can do this! Can you tell me more about the art submission thing you were talking about? Do u have a link, perhaps? Thanks from Ca,
@@EverydayisSaturdayexceptSunday +giggles+ Definitely no samplers here! I am so glad that you enjoy seeing all the project. There seems to be more and more of them each time I make a new video. Lol. 😂 So, the cross stitchy project is in a like a Facebook group, but on a Russian app called VK. I think you can access it through a website too, but i don’t know if you need to sign in. Anyway, the group is this one: vk.com/studiocrossstitch And the actual folder where you can see all the artwork that was submitted this time is: vk.com/album-162773918_304098291 I hope the links work for you. ❤️
@@istitchbirds oh my goodness thank you so much! I loaded the app and the link works. Now I have to learn some Russian, teehee Do you speak Russian? I can’t believe how gorgeous that artwork is. I would stitch anyone of them. I can’t wait to see if I can access /purchase patterns eventually. Thank you so very much and I hope you have an absolutely wonderful day! Chin up, and all that sort of stuff 💗
@@EverydayisSaturdayexceptSunday All that artwork really is so amazing!!! And if you look at the comments for each artwork, you will start seeing the progress pictures posted by the designers as they are creating the patterns. I love it!!! I am sure that but by bit these patterns will make their way to mybobbin or Etsy shops. I studied Russian at school for a few years, but I have forgotten most of it. I can definitely still read the alphabets and understand something here and there, but Google translate has been my best friend for a while. Lol. 😂
@@istitchbirds thank you for the tips! It is an art like no other. I feel like I love so many of them! Now I’m going to go back and read the comments, I was so stunned at the whole collection I had forgotten about the part you said in your video about the comments. Thank you so much again and have a wonderful day. xxoo karen from California .
@@EverydayisSaturdayexceptSunday One of the designers has already put the patterns she finished for sale in her Boosty shop! So fast! boosty.to/maricha?share=ios_blog_link
@@suzannegirard9453 I use Saga. It is such a fun program to use. Perfect for me as I stitch so many Russian/Ukrainian patterns and the designers from those country almost always provide saga versions of their patterns. I like it as it has the backstitching too, unlike PatternKeeper (which I actually haven’t used! I don’t think they are Apple compatible yet, right?)
Voi että kun voisin sulle itsevarmuutta ammentaa. Susta on vaikka mihin! Huoh.
