Flosstube #53 Lots of stitchy goodness to share! 

Your finishes are beautifulI and I always enjoy seeing them. Congrats on learning to quilt. They are really pretty. I have made two quilts with the help of my bestie. She is a beautiful quilter and is paid to do long arm quilting. She sews some very intricate patterns on the quilts she finishes for others. I have watched her stitch with her long arm machine and it’s fascinating. I personally don’t have the patience to sew quilts but I do appreciate them. My friend has made a few for me and I love them. I want to get down to Grand Country quilts. I may have to make a trip to Oceanside soon so hopefully I can visit if I go down. My birthday is also on May 8th. I’ll be 72. I have so many large projects kitted and ready to go that I will probably choose one of those. Good luck with your open house. I remember those days and all the preparation that goes into it. I love your videos, and I notice we have the same iron. Don’t you love it? The sole-plate never sticks to anything and it has so many steam holes. I use it on my husband’s grandmother’s old wooden ironing board, and both clothes and cross stitches press up beautifully! I have no desire for one of those pop-up irons.

I’ve gotten behind in watching flosstubes & have been catching up. First, I feel so bad about what happened to you on your walk. I don’t understand why there are so many bad people in this world. I am glad that you did not get it worse like that poor woman. Second, I am obsessed with a pattern I saw that was stitch by for Karen from Deb, a rabbit looking up at tulips. I must get that pattern. I have looked everywhere for it but have not seen it. Would it be possible to find out who designed it or where I can get it. I would greatly appreciate it. Glad you’re ok & back making videos.
