I have started rewatching Downton as I stitch....it's been sitting on my Prime for years and now they are taking it off in 12 days! So I'm bingeing it as I'm only on season 3! So sorry y’all had COVID in your house over Christmas. We all had it in our family of 5 at Christmas too. I’m so grateful to be past it and feeling 100% again. I love that Owl Forest piece you started!!!! And seeing all your COVID stitches up close is so special. They are beautiful. Enjoy all those Word Plays 👍🏻

Kirsty you could almost be 'Stitching with the Housewives' with your dresser behind you and your finished pieces displayed there!! Your Antrim's folly is going to look pretty stunning when you've finished it, I like your version of herringbone stitch and it looks good to me. You certainly like the big cross stitching designs! Hi Kirsty, such lovely projects! Your sepia tones on the OFE design are perfect. My mouth dropped when you showed Atrium’s Folly… What a stunning piece. Do the instructions for regular crosses tell you to stitch over one strand? With the stitch you are having troubles with, my suggestion is to draw your own model. That way you have something visual to reference when you are doing your “conversion” to double the size. Also I’m wondering if you might run into trouble later with using a miscounted area to place new motifs. Hopefully you can just get into a groove with that piece, it’s SO so beautiful.

Loved seeing all your starts Kirsty 😄 good progress on your HAED, the colours are so vibrant. Sometimes when you look at the shading close up on a HAED you do think, is that right, but further away it’s fine. I really like that New Years OFE chart, I’m very tempted to get it but I think I need to put some work into the black one first! Looking forward to your crafty tube catch up. I took an online class from her years ago and she is so friendly and good to help so you might contact her via email just to clarify your issue before you go a lot further. Just a thought………….
