Great to catch up! I went to Loop after the Stitch Festival at the Design Centre in Islington last year - you may need a mortgage but they had some lovely yarns there. Shop is quite small - I had to let people leave before I could get in! There was also a little antique market opposite and some cool charity shops in the main high street!! Enjoy!
It was so good to meet you at SIL Kirsty. Your work is so beautiful. Love the range of stitching, quilting, knitting and crochet you had to share today. Your Christmas cake will be just fine without treacle (I speak from experience 😉).

Loved the Eloise Cornu, it's going to look fantastic, such a pretty border. Great to see your progress on Jane Austin quilt, it really is a work of art. Qhick mention on Christmas cakes, I'm sure yours will be fine, but M&S have a cake mix with ingredients all in, even fruit is soaked in brandy. Only need eggs and butter, bit if a cheat I suppose, but tastes great. Nearly time to bring out the stitched Christmas Pudding! Happy stitching
Thank you for watching 😊 a cheat Christmas cake sounds great only I have to be careful as my eldest has a nut allergy so tend to make a lot of cakes etc from scratch. I have been drowning the cake in brandy in the hope everyone will be too tipsy to notice the missing treacle 😂

Never cease to have a smile and a bit of a laugh when watching your videos. Haven't seen your progress on the Hatched and Patched quilt in a while. How's it coming along? I'm currently making a couple of their santa sacks, that may or may not have been sitting half done for several months
Thank you for watching 😊 sadly the Hatched and Patched was given up on. I completely messed up the placement of the first block and had a few other issues 🙄so stopped but I do intend on restarting it in ‘24. I will have to look up their Santa sacks.
