Flourishing workers practice what Jesus practiced: They see, they cross boundaries, and confront systems of injustice. “He came not only to set individuals right, but institutions as well.” Christians should share the same passions and priorities of Jesus, and this flows over into the workplace as Christians strive to apply the gospel to everyday life. “Individuals who genuinely flourish,” says Amy Sherman, “understand they are part of a larger story… they understand their work in light of God’s work and mission; they understand that God is on mission to renew all things.”
