That GTI looks pretty clean! (The curb rash on the left rear, ouch!) I remember getting my MK 6 GTI 10 years ago and wanting to a bunch of performance and cosmetic mods but I ended up trading in for a MK7.5 R. Nice vid, brought back memories!
Really helpful video. Quick question about the side splitters, what length self tapping screws did you use for the front two holes to replace the nut inserts?
Hey guys I ordered & installed the full kit plus accessories on my Vw GTI Mk6 - of which I am beyond pleased with but I wanted to point out that I noticed the demonstration in the video when attaching the side extensions is not coherent with the written instructions. Specifically the arrangement in the (A) Fitting kit. The gentlemen in the video states the arrangement should be bolt, metal washer, star-lock washer, and then rubber washer. In the instructional fitting diagram it specifically instructs bolt, star-lock washer, rubber washer, and then metal washer last. The ONLY reason I’m pointing this out is because some people could get confused and assemble the extensions wrong. I hope in some way this has helped. In conclusion I’d like to point out that Flow Designs is an ABCD type of business… they go above and beyond the call of duty, in every aspect. The superior quality product they provide is 1 in none & for anyone to be dissatisfied would be baffling. Flow Designs truly, genuinely separates themselves from the mass majority of other products alike. I fully recommend Flow Designs 💯 You can’t go wrong. Check em out. Thanks again guys, I’m stoked on the fit & look. You can expect I’ll be back. Until then… ✌️
is there any danger that, when breaking through the rear bumper with the electric screwdriver for the diffuser, it will touch something behind the bumper or not?
Unfortunately no kits for the Jetta at the moment, shoot Flow Designs a message/email and if enough people do perhaps they'll put together a kit for it too!
@@ExclusiveWraps hi question with that, how did you remove the red stripes from the grill if you did, im struggling haha. awesome video also had no problem following this to install my kit. Thanks!
Hi, how much do you charge for this full kit and for installation?? Also is this Kit suitable for golf 6 tdi gt model ?? Thanks. Any link for your shop??
Hey mate, unfortunately the kit isn't suitable for thw tdi model. You can follow our other socials for heaps more on what we do here: IG @exclusivewrapsaus FB @exclusivewrapsaustralia
Tricky one, as long as the wheel base is the same i can't see why not, i assume the front and rear bumpers are the same, if they are then it should be fine. Best to check with Flow Designs on that to confirm
If you're based in Qld, Australia send us an email to brisbane@exclusivewraps.com.au for pricing and install costs. If you're not, check out www.flowdesignsaustralia.com for products and shipping.
Is there an option without the logo on the side of the winglets? I’d rather just tell people what brand than have the logo plastered all over the parts for a cleaner look.
There isn't an option without the logo i'm afraid, perhaps shoot the guys at Flow designs a message, the more people that express interest the more likely they will create the products people are asking for.
Why do ppl insist on saying M K 6, instead of mark 6? Which is what mk is short for. (collins dictionary) "Mk Mk is a written abbreviation for mark. Mk is used to refer to a particular model or design of a car or machine." It's a Written abbreviation, meaning you don't Say it. Just as you don't say Good Morning M R Jones Sorry to be pedantic but if it's not corrected, no one will know. BTW the car looks awesome 👌
