I had this stent inserted a few years ago, years after my initial brain aneurysm rupture & coiling. Apparently, over time, the coils compacted, allowing blood to flow into the aneurysm again. I'm getting yearly MRAs to check the status. Grateful to science & the doctors specialized in this field. You're saving lives! 💕

I had a flow diverter stent fitted in 2018 after a rupture, apparently this was the most suitable treatment for the type of aneurysm that I had, have had a number of scans since then and everything seems fine. The stent seems to me like a much more modern and robust form of treatment than clipping or coiling, so glad this is what I got.
I had 3 brain aneurysm I had 3 surgery s 2 coiling and I stein I went for an angiogram this year every thing is good no more problems I'm glad to be alive my wife saved me from dieing after everything they did the only problem I have now is my right eye sees double some times
How do you deal with a headache since this link my right eye is just kind of it's working but it's not it's like it's just rained and the only I don't know if that's from my head hurting or one it is but I've been taking Tylenol for it and I don't know what to do

My first aneurysm got brust in 2020 so pterional craniotomy and microvascular clipping was done. To prevent brusting of my second aneurysm stent (flow divertor) was implanted in 2022 but after somedays it got blocked and gave me ischemic stroke. Now I have 2 clips in brain's left hemisphere &1 stent in brain's right hemisphere.
How are you doing now? I'm newly diagnosed, unruptured, 4cm located in the Circle of Willis. Seeing intervention radiologist on July 1st. Praying for you!

Hello. I have an aneurysm that measures up to 9.2 mm in diameter. The aneurysm neck is wide measuring approximately 6.6 mm in diameter. It is a Saccular berry aneurysm arising from the le supraclinoid segment of the distal internal carotid artery. I also have Chronic PTSD. I hope I find the strength to have the surgery to get it repaired. Sending love to you all.
I was diagnosed with a 4 cm aneurysm June 3rd after a CT scan prior to a total thyroidectomy on June 4th. I have an appointment with an intervention radiologist/neurosurgeon on July 1st to discuss my options. I'm quite concerned, a bit nervous but, I have turned it over to God. What will be will be. My aunt was going under flow diverter procedure. But our doctor said that during the process her blood pressure elevated to 200 to 220 as well as she went into Arythmia. So he abandoned the procedure and said that he didn't place the flow diverter. And said he will have a CT Scan tomorrow to check if there was some bleeding after he abandoned the procedure. If there is no changes then he will discharge her with some medicines to control her blood pressure.. can this be true. ? Please help
