Way easier than it looks like once you get a idea what each brush is capable of and the amount of paint you need for the nail. I usually pick up my medium of choice and release excess on a paper towel before applying to my clients nails to get the perfect amount of paint for the design it's always better to add more if needed than to have too much and you can't take it out
