Oh Flower Of Scotland, When will we see, your like again That fought and died for Yer wee bit hill and glen And stood against him Proud Edward's army And sent him homeward Tae think again The hills are bare now And autumn leaves lie thick and still For land that is lost now Which those so dearly held And stood against him Proud Edward's army And sent him homeward Tae think again Those days are past now And in the past, they must remain But we can still rise now And be the nation again That stood against him Proud Edward's Army And sent him homeward Tae think again The hills are bare now And autumn…
This is the greatest Anthem ever... I am Irish, I am a Celt & Proud... This song make me (am Irish man at that) Proud of the Celtic peoples & the long history of struggles etc.. The Celtic Peoples are Brothers & Sisters...

Hey guys I've been reading the comments and let me stay i'm a black guy from Jamaica. My great grand parents are McFee but who the hell cares. i've always loved Scotland and will always and no one can tell me different. Much love
Thanks for saying so, my Irish friend! It was written in 1968 by The Corries (search The Corries - Flower of Scotland (good quality)), became the song of choice at football stadiums & was voted the Nation Anthem in 2006 by a landslide. It becomes official at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. A Proud Scot in Canada
I agree with the other Irishman who posted here, always think of flower of scotland as our "other " anthem, , and especially the pipers. Saw them in Douglas last summer, part of the celtic music festival, brilliant to see manx, breton and cornish folk music as well as the Irish and Scottish songs I love so much
You like it on RU-vid? If you ever get a chance to come to Scotland and watch a rugby match do with all haste, everyone's nice and the chants are nothing like the aggressive football ones
Brody Walker thats true im a dis hard fenian (celtic fan) we go insane when its a old firm cause we get to beat some orange hun senseless..ko no but really come to scotland you wont regret it :)
I nearly died this year by trying to light a filter tip pissed, thank you Red Hot Chilli Piper's & all the staff at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary burns unit. 👍
Have seen the Chilli Pipers many times on the numerous events they have held in Hartford CT. They "rock the room" every place they appear. Laird Richard
Hi red hot chili pipers I've seen a few of your videos and on my god I've seen lots of good bands but you guys are like immortal please come to New Zealand soon Adelaide to see you guys play live and I'd love to join you guys if you haven't got a bass player rock and chilli Pipers
I am Irish and to be honest with all you scots I am proud of this anthem, all the 6 nation matches when scotland are playing I sing this anthem, I am so proud to be a celt........ I sing this anthem when there is a sing-song in the local pub, you know, this song is very popular in Ireland.
Another American of Scottish Ancestry times 2 (Dinwiddie-father; Vergason/Ferguson-mother's father). Here's hoping you get the Independence you have fought for so long and hard and it is all you wish it to be this September.
my first time hearing this band, thought they done a good job of the song and i could tell the singer was from scotland,he has a lovely accent as i do and very proud of it. people here in america love to hear me speak and often ask me to say somethoing else.
We're gunna play this at Mum's funeral next week. I'm a kiwi with total Scottish parents. I didn't even know about these guys til yesterday. They're AWESOME!!!!!!
Nor can I ! As a Nova Scotian whose ancestors were dispossesed in the Clearances I expect to claim my "Aboriginal Rights of Return" in a free Scotland!!!! Fair game I think! As nearly as I can tell my ancestoral home was exactly where the Glenfiddich Distillery sits today. SO! When Scotland is free and I can come home I will claim my rights! Leave the pipes full and the key in the mailbox and I will pick it up! And bugger off the rest of you!
ALBA GU BRATH, today I remember all the heroes of Scotland. William Wallace , Robert the Bruce, Cinioch king of Alba, and Rob Roy. Also James the First as he untited England and Scotland. :)
I agree with all mentioned, and In relation to James the First, I support your heraldry. So much better than the bloody war that could have continued to rage till possibly even today.
PRECIOSO!!!!! Me puso los pelos de punta... en serio... esto si que es tocar una hermosa cancion. Saludos desde Catalunya a todos los amantes de la musica e instrumentos celtas.
My dad's scottish, and my mom is danish. I live in Denmark, and danish is my first language. But inside, I'm a proud just to have a little scottish blood in me!!!
I just recently got married and had a piper pipe me up to the alter. My pride almost made me cry all the way to the alter. I was born in Canada but have very deep roots to Scotland to me this is my national anthem. Alba Gru Brath
More than the six nations, my dear friends. I am québécois and I feel well when this song is playing. This music flows in my veins like my own blood... like the blood of my gallic and "breton" (I don't know how to write it in english)... and I am then proud to be celt.
Requested this song at karaoke at my local bar. Surprised everyone there by not once looking at the screen (being a true Scot I had memorized the whole thing).
