Splendid. One of those fantastic synth themes. This one made me buy an SY77 in 1988. This theme was used as generic of a french tv show. Took me ages to find title as long as I was playing it on my yamaha.. thanks to the internet I discovered the title and smiled at the fact the composer and I have the same surname.
Thank you!! Great story also. When I was 8 years old my father bought the album, it was my introduction to electronic music, and it's been a favorite theme since then and possibly the reason I like synths.
Hugo lol that's also similar to my story. It was this theme, Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis who left indelible marks upon me. The music was truly otherworldly and it appealed to me more than anything else. The sound both scared me and delighted me. Another piece that also played a lot in the early 80s was Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds. It was all of these distinct and powerful pieces of music that truly never left me. And that's why I too went into electronic music and synths. It's a fascinating world of sound exploration.
