What's funny to me is how Kenny and old media tried so hard to make floyd fight the best there was but right now today you never see them going so hard at canelo to fight the best out there. Then act like they don't see canelo hand picking his opponents. These people are bias as hell.
There is bias against elite black fighters, not just from ESPN, but from the promotions and sanctioning bodies as well. Non-black fighters can fake injuries, lie about having COVID, and use PEDs, and you barely hear about it, if at all. The powers that be do not want elite black fighters to have belts, make money, or call the shots. Now, the WBC has invented the "franchise" designation, which allows non-black fighters to duck elite black fighters if they want.
Floyd has always been a master at dealing with media and keeping his composure... he grew on to me. I honestly hope he never loses... it would take away from his shit talking.
Manny will land first few rounds, Mayweather Jr. will adjust, round 4 and up, Floyd wins easily. Floyd always uses the first couple rounds to study his opponent. He's willing to use them as survey rounds.
Lol I laughed when you said "easily" have u watched pac mans speed even late in the rounds he doesnt slow down not to mention he hast more power then floyd at welterwight
Brian Kenny is probably speechless right now. Mayweather proved to him and the rest of the world the night he beat pacquiao that he is one of the best in the world. You can tell by his demeanor that he's trying to take shots at mayweather and hiding behind the fact that he's just interviewing and asking him questions.
In this interview Brian Kenny talks and answers the dumbest questions and Floyd is really concentrated and well spoken... unlike other interviews between Brian and Floyd.
This the turning point for Floyd when he became non reactive to the media for the sake of his own peace of mind. Essentially he became calm mature and more stable emotionally stoic in nature. Something we should all strive to be.
Man Floyd is a genius.. when he first started his boxing career he told his team (TMT) " ima work so hard that one day in my carrier, ima be the FIRST boxer to make 9 digits in ONE NIGHT" (100,000,000 Million dollars) so he knew everyone want him and pacquiao to fight. And he probally would of fought him back when they told him to if it wasnt for his steriods. but then he remember that hell just make everyone wait for years for the fight to happen and there you go.. he made his words come true.
I will say it until the end of time, Floyd Mayweather Jr is the Greatest Sportsman In The World. Give the Man the Respect He has sweat, bled and cried for. He Is Phenomenal and He's sitting on 50 - 0. Everyone who has been put in front of Floyd has lost. Now What?????? You've Ring Commentators, D, J's and Newsreaders all putting this Man down. Come on He's entertained Us for years, He's dedicated His Entire Life to the Sport but No One with A Voice will say what needs to be said while Floyd Mayweather Jr is here to hear it. He's The World's Greatest and He deserves The Accolade and The Respect that comes with All The Titles He Holds. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Lol. Some dumb broads opinion on boxing and or fighting. Your opinion on getting a donkey off would be more apt than your opinion on a boxer or fighter.
The media loves to throw shade at Mayweather because they hate the fact that they can’t control him like their other assets and puppets in the sports entertainment world he rewrote the script he’s the producer director and actor and they can’t stand it 😂
I've never seen Floyd like that before He really looks to get revenge about all the critics about him ducking Pacquiao. I think that a new Floyd Mayweather is coming... I feel that now he really wants to fight Pacquiao and destroys him so bad !
He’s not the best pound for pound though. I mean pacquiao clearly a more accomplished fighter pound for pound. Floyd one of the most skilled though fa sho
@@nigelbetty2260 Floyd Mayweather literally beat Manny. Your logic makes no sense 🤣 pound for pound means that your the best fighter relative to your weight. Less to do with your accomplishments more about your skills.
@@nigelbetty2260 just search it up for yourself. You’ll realize how wrong you are; every boxing gym I’ve been to as well has referred to it the same way as me. Pound for pound means “the best”. Fighter. Who use pound for pound best, to discuss the most accomplished fighter! Like what are you on about ! 🤣 being more accomplished does not make you a better fighter than someone.
Leonardo Espiritu Mayweather has never touched anything, he doesn’t even drink alcohol lol good try though even Freddie Roach said it himself Manny was too afraid to take the drug test and that’s why they didn’t fight earlier. Regardless it doesn’t matter, Floyd showed every fighter ever he is not like the rest.
I think in this case Floyd was gracious and polite to Brian Kenny from the beginning and Brian had a tone and was a little snappy and disrespectful. Nobody is paying to see Brian Kenny. He's got a job to interview world class athletes like Floyd and he should be a little more respectful. He should get the story without trying to become the story. Just my opinion.
@mattyrich76 ok.... lets get this straight. I agree that Manny is an explosive and devastating punchher capable of throwing power shots from all angles. I just dont see how someone of his build can pack that sort of muscle on is such a short period of time and maintain that level of intensity. Secondly, he's been beaten and it was Marquez took him incredibley close recently. Floyd is unbeaten, has fought the best, his defence is just other worldly.
5:21 I swr he's a smartass...bcuz Basketball (even he's bit short for NBA) But just as a Hobby or Daily Practical sport , it hlps a lot with his defensive wide stances and footwork too; u can still see that in him (in his matches n fights)!
Floyd's face looks pricelessly hilarious in this video. I can't describe it. He looks like a tired and emaciated crackhead. He needs to go back to this. It brings me laughter.
People keep bringing canelo but if u know boxing you'll know canelo is a rookie who is not ready for any of the top fighters. Pac will kill canelo of u dont know boxing is best to keep your mouth shut. The truth is Floyd keeps ducking pac man
BlackOwnedDollars nope cuz canelo is a rookie. That is why Floyd fought him but am not surprised cuz ouy s what Floyd do fight rookies, washed up, or past prime fighters. Manny murders canelo
Miguel Tellez that awkward moment where pac coach freddie roach said he does not want pac to fight canelo as hes too big for him .. seems you know nothing about boxing
***** roach explain and said he is struggling to make 154 and floyd made him drop 2 extra pounds that's killing canelo cuz he walks on 175 before fights. Is easy to tell your ignorance cuz you don't have knowledge of anything. Get back to your barbie dolls cuz you're humiliating yourself
Miguel Tellez haha roach said he wouldnt fight canelo at 152 .. and canelos camp are the ones who said they will fight mayweather at a catchweight you really dont know nothing about boxing im just sitting here laughing at your dumbass
I don't understand why Mayweather is so scared of Pacquiao. I think he'd beat him, but he's obviously ducking Pacquiao. Pacquiao and his team says, "We're open to the fight and we want it." Mayweather just comes up with excuses. Pacquiao's achievements are cemented whether or not he fights Mayweather, Mayweather's legacy is being destroyed by Pacquiao. Mayweather should be the one to chase Pacquiao.
hey, carlo velasco it's not that he's scared of pac man it's just that he doesn't want to deal with bob arum. bob is like don king who robbed tyson, ali, holmes, holyfield and many more boxers. floyd doesn't want anything to do with pac mans promoter bob arum. look at who he's fought. no bob arum fighters who are contracted with bob
@mattyrich76 thats what i thought to but idk cause i seen gloves that all way the same and is in different size and yeah also boxing dosent have that many instresting fighters as mma and in mma there is soo many way the match can end and you dont really have that in boxing but both great sports and if mayweather and pac happens there wont really be much attention on mma till the alistar and lesnar bout
@mattyrich76 i found alot of sites the day you wrote no heavyweight use 10ounce gloves but alot of sites said ali frazier and tyson used 10ounce gloves just cause of the time of boxing all weight classes used that and tyson also went against spanks in 8ounce gloves his only match in 8ounce gloves but its whatever and its difficult to find out what size gloves was used in a boxing bout but u no more about boxing then i do cause im a mma fan and mayweather fan but i will watch pac n mar III
That's because by this point he was already convinced that he had haters no matter who he beat. If you know their history you would know that Brian Kenny always speculated that Floyd ducked certain fighters. Floyd here had already beat Shane, hatton, zab, baldomir, and Marquez. Only one left was Pacman of importance
Honestly the boxing community needs more people like brian, we got three undefeated champs and they all ducking each other getting into fights with the worse opponents. Just stacking up W’s it’s outrageous. We need people like brian to ask them directly. Ryan garcia, why are you avoiding tank. Haney, why are you avoiding ryan. Boxing is a joke, lets go brian
Let me tell u sum The moment we see a new mayweather(which probably wont happen ever), there will be thousands of them. Not only that there arent allowed to be any of THOSE interviewers cuz them fighters these days are afraid of ANY confrontation or critisicm. This what makes floyd so great bro he confronts it, he walks it and talks it
Again creating your own news this article is after the unofficial review Youre arguing that arum had nothing to do with it and I showed you the article where arum says "Top Rank promoter Bob Arum said he has submitted a formal request to the office of Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto for a "full and complete inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the scoring" of Saturday's fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas." your article is after the review but it doesn't support your claims
@mattyrich76 thats just the words that came out floyds mouth but when i looked into it found that heavweights use 10-12oz gloves and anything above those glove sizes was used in training 2 bulid strength endurance and speed but like i said i dont follow boxing im an mma fan so i guess i can just beileve you gloves and hand wraps. com/ glove/ glove3. html and anyones hand can fit in2 any weight glove cause they have sizes
@mattyrich76 How am I wrong, I didnt say negotiations didnt happen, I said they did but the terms were not met as confirmed by Ross Greenburg and most recently Michael Koncz which is different from what Bob Arum said...everyone is so up Bob Arum's backside its becoming a joke, plus Arum's one of the main problems why this fight isnt happening.
@mattyrich76 As for Cotto, it should be noted that by the time Cotto made his debut in the welterweight division, Mayweather had already captured the lineal welterweight title and was beginning negotiations for his money fight with Oscar De la Hoya. If Arum had wanted to force a fight between his guys and then-WBC champ, Mayweather, he could've easily done so by positioning Margarito, Cotto, and Clottey within the rankings of the organization (any division expect the WBC)
