Floyd Mayweather could NEVER surpass the true greatness that Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Sugar Ray Robinson and others carried with them throughout their lives. True greatness means destroying your opponent without reservation-even if it meant taking one along the way. THAT is what makes great boxers... not someone who fights defensively... scoring meager points along the way. In retrospect, Mayweather KNOWS he doesn't have the power to knock out many opponents. And he is not willing to admit he may not be able to take the pounding other great boxers sacrifice for in order to meet the stats quo. Today, he is frustrated, angry and even jealous of those legendary great boxers who didn't cut corners (as he did) in oder to achieve their glory. Simply said, Mayweather is a man who wasn't willing to gamble during his boxing career-which creates magnificent battles. He simply played it safe-which makes boxing quite boring if you ask me.
