I find Mayweather's personality, as manifested in his arrogance, his slighting remarks about Muhammad Ali, and obsession with material wealth, vexatious. But in fairness, I have give him credit for enormous skill, and this fight is a fine example. Against the formidable Marcos Maidana, he earned the decision by retaining a slight but unmistakable edge from start to finish.

Maidana actually lost this fight. Mayweather didnt win it. Maidana just being overly aggressive swinging wildly. landing more lucky punches than accurate ones. With this style of fighting, you have to clearly defeat your opponent, like he did Broner. Floyd took everything he threw at him and never waivered. Maidana did his best and at no point in this fight did floyd look out of control or out played. Boxing is an art form, and honestly, floyds art was better here. Then there is the 2nd fight where floyd CLEARLY won and showed everyone that Maidana never actually stood a chance.
