Finally got back out for some fun cutthroat fishing! We're getting back into some fun warmer weather fishing and I couldn't be more excited! I hope everyone has an exciting spring!
Nice to see that area and will be there this coming week on another north ID river and glad I've been tying up some Skwala's to run my nymphs under. Your respect and enjoyment of these areas and the fish that live there hopefully inspires others to do the same. Hope to meet up with you one of these trips and celebrate the fortune we are given in these beautiful watersheds!

@@FlyAddict_Fishing Hey where were you,LOL!!! Did manage to get up into some of the upper portion of a basin and encountered some not so spring like weather! Did manage several on Euro rig but not many interested in moving very far for a easy meal. Being a west side person this so called spring time weather is hopefully going to arrive when I make my next visit. Cheers and keep my trout fixes coming until I can make it over again for some quality trout fishing!!
Haha! I'm glad you got to get out! Hopefully despite the cooler weather you had some luck!! But yeah, this is the latest spring I've personally seen here in 5-6 years, kinda frustrating haha!! I just want the March browns to come, but they're looking more like they're gonna be May browns instead of March browns this year lol. I got out Saturday and I've never seen so much snow in the upper river at this point. Hopefully it means we are gonna have a healthy summer in terms of water though 🤞
