Totally agree its beautiful...That was the Powell Sweetp 7 ft 4 wt glass rod....just got off the water in a diffetent spot up there catching bigger fish on same setup
Those are the smallest brook trout I’ve ever seen.. they’re barely juvenile… last year my best catch was 4 lbs, my PB is 6 lbs.. And please, try to treat this species with respect. Wet your hands before handling them to protect the oil on their bodies, and don’t just drop them, properly release them. They’re the most beautiful species of fish you can catch. They’re the trout that’s most harmed by improper handling and fishing methods.. if you can help it, try using barbless flies.
@@diyvintagefly oh dang.. I didn’t realize you were that far south, I’m in North Atlantic Canada… if you love native brookies, you should really make your way up here! The rest stands though, always wet your hands before handling any trout, and always properly release them. Seriously though, you should come up to northeast Canada for some seariously beautiful sea run brookies!
