Thanks for your videos this season Lewis. I'm looking forward to trying your methods out next season and I look forward to hopefully see some grayling nymphing sessions. Geoff ex yorkshire diary.

Thanks Geoff, you know the spots that I fish so just go there and get them next season 😉👍🏻 I’ll be getting some Nymphing done over Autumn/winter and some flytying videos. Thanks for the support mate 👍🏻

@@nymphingnewt7639 Yeah they look more like the trout you see caught in New Zealand.
@soultrader57fishingandmusi25
well done fella! lovely trout. My stream near home has lots of small trout, but I never get anything decent outside 1st and last light if its low water.

@nymphingnewt7639 Год назад
Thanks mate, I’ve seen your videos and find them really enjoyable to watch. On the small streams it can be difficult during daytime hours, I find they do fish better when they have a lift in water with colour in.

@@nymphingnewt7639thanks! My only opportunity on the last day of the season was dawn, I had an appointment at 8.30am and after that the big rain was on the way, only had time to walk 5 min to my local Brook. I wouldn't normally fly fish at dawn on a cold autumn morning but they were queuing up for the little black streamer lure, including a 12 incher which is very good for a small stream where its usually very small trout. There was a little too much colour 6 hours later!!! Grayling and pike from now on!

Yeh mate that’s the 9’ 6wt. It’s a lovely rod, never tried the nymph one but I’d imagine it’ll be decent 👍🏻

I do but these days I only do it early season. I go through fazes where I’m all in on Nymphing or dry and that’s all I’ll do, now it’s streamer fishing.

@@carlhughes9584 I know mate, the rivers I fish aren’t great dry fly rivers if I’m honest apart from the Tees the rest start good and seem to die from late May. I’ll be doing more dry fly in the spring though 👍🏻

@@nymphingnewt7639 I'm in North Wales. It's a good area for wild fishing. There's some big trout in mountain lakes but they are very elusive and some big Grayling in the Dee, seatrout, but while there's plenty of trout fishing, because our rivers are acidic, the trout are unfortunately on the small side, with a pound fish being a really good fish. I suppose I'm a bit envious when I see the huge trout in North England ( and south Wales ). If I caught a 4 pound wild brown river trout I think I would either faint or cry like a little girl lol
