This is a quick video I put together of my son harvesting his crops. It highlights some important farm facts in todays world. Music is "Fly Over States" By Jason Aldean on Broken Bow Records. No infringement intended. Enjoy!
Me being a farmer myself this boy is one of few boys who has seen a farm or drove a tractor hey buddy from one farmer to another keep doing what u r doing
Great video! Im an otr truck driver so i know the feeling of a job that provides the backbone of this country going unappreciated. Dont listen to the naysayers out there, they need to be made aware without people doing the jobs we do this country wouldnt be the way it is.
Hey there! I'm a 14 year old from Northeast Iowa, and I am also a future farmer. I really like the message this video has to people who are uneducated about farming. It is very true that we work hard not because we have to, but because we want to thank you for posting such a nice video
This song reminds me of my dad we lost in 2012 and asked me one day coming off a five day haul if I get to see beautiful sunsets. I told him I get to see beautiful sunsets and sunrises. I love and miss you dad. See a soon.
i get so tired of people of talking trash if they think they can do better in farming then plan there on garden insted of griping about the prices of the produce i know i takes alot of time and watching over the crops and then the gas to harvest the crop so i apreceate all the work you and your family does to keep up the demands in our country thank you so much.
I was raised in small town Montana that was a huge farming community. I want to thank all farmers AND ranchers for what they do. You all are truly the backbone of America and keep us fed. I thank you all.
Damn good job son, thank you for what you and your family are doing for us. Keep up the good work and hold your head up high whenever someone ask what you do.
For a "quick" video I thought this was great! Such a good reminder to not take the food on our table for granted. Our farmers worked hard to put it there! Thank you for sharing this (and for working so hard).
Good job Cody. Sometimes it's hard to get a compliment out of a Daddy... Put I'm betting money he tells others how proud he is of you. Keep up the the good work!
Keep it up man, we need more like you. I was running farm equipment since I was 7. I go to our cattlemens meetings and watch the old dying off and no new farmers. It's becoming an almost impossible task to feed the world.
Great Video. Really enjoyed it. I drove my first Tractor when I was 11 and have been around Farming for as long as I can remember. Driven a lot of Tractors and people laugh at me in High School for doing what I love. I've watched so many Videos of Harvest Crews and huge Farms out West and can't wait to get out there in the Fields working sun up to sun down puttn food on tables and I'll be god damn proud of it. People think I can't do it, but I know I can.
im 14 and me and my buddys the same age have started are own little farm and plant and harvest hay we really like it. its nice to see were not alown. thanks man
Nice to know farm life all over the world is the same. Sounds just like my dad when im running the combine! Alberta farmers are preparing to seed as we speak :)
i want to thank you and all the hard workin farmers in this country for their many hours of hard work they do for giving us the food we need. Nobody seems to apprieciate what you do for them. The government doesn't help either.
..I live in indiana and work on a local farm...Im 15 and here recently the U.S Senate was trying to pass a law on farms and ranches saying you had to be a certain age to be on the farm..I wrote to them and got several replys from the senate.. I explained to them that we are not only building our education at school but on the farm..AND WE ARE THE NEXT GENERATION was strongly explained and they have a problem relizing this is what drives America.. God Bless all of the farmers of America!!!
As a farmer with a Son And Daughter following in my wife and my footsteps, this makes me very proud!!!! By the way the Deere Combine in the video looks the same as ours. Doesn't matter how many times ya'll wash it, it still ends up a dusty shitty mess. And we pull chains on ours to try to kill the static electricity...
I like to see other kids who know the good life. my dad does custom chopping in southern WI. and at 14 years old i am learning how to run chopper and doing pretty good, I've been running a self propelled 12 ft Ag bagger since i was 10 and might get a chance at out 30 ft. merger. I get all summer to do what i want and i choose to work. 7 am to possibly 3 am and i love it so much. i love to learn the business, it can be the most stressful thing even for a 14 year old but no1 said farming is easy.
I am 13 been helping my family on both sides of my parents. both my parents mom and dad and brothers and sisters live on our 109 acre land. We have a lot of farm land in 3 different places here in McKenzie Tennessee. Me and my 2 brothers 6 cousins were all same age except john hes 15 my cousin and my 2 grandpas and 1 uncle go from farm to farm till all the crops are planted and picked.
I'm from Iowa the first time I drove a tractor was when I was five my dad said take it to the other end of the field and park it and then he jumped out I learned really fast how to drive it.
I currently work for a big furniture store company in my local town Johnstown ny I’m a cleaner and without me the store would practically fall apart due to the fact that I keep the store nice and clean and safe for customers as they come through the door
Farm with your heart, bust it and live like crazy. The advise my grampa gave me cody, farm with a passion but dont miss your life its the only one you get...so knees in the dirt pray to the clouds.
Dad lighten up dont be afraid to tell him your proud of him just think he's not on an Xbox hope your real proud of that young fella at least he's having a go
damn i wish i learnt on a 9770 hahaha. Good on ya man, great facts in the video, we need more people to see facts like this to realize what is needed. Not activists and city people getting pissy cause of how we do things or how were an inconvenience on the roads. Can't forget your Canadian farmers too tho, in Alberta agriculture is what built the province but oil is everything. Which isnt right cause its me and you who will be feedin them. Ps good job learnin to run without gps etc.
Exactly. I know here too many people have a total disregard for agriculture. At the university everyone complains cause we ride horses around for our annual agriculture party, been doing it for 66 years why stop now! If people would take the time to see and understand what we as farmers and ranchers go through on a daily basis they would have a greater respect. Especially all the idiot kids who say they're "country" cause they got a mudded up daddys truck. Anyways all the luck to ya guys!
I would like to see what the world would look like without these kind if people, rich people that live all the way in New York or LA would probably starve to death because they would not have a clue how to get there food and yes I know that some farmers grow corn for animals but still there job is more important than being famous and being on TV every day and having it all
I like this song but I hate your video. If I could click thumbs down more than once I would. Side note, this song isn’t only about farmers. It’s about all the hard working people from the Midwest that keep this country moving.
stop compaining good god they have less and less land to work with and im pretty sure you and i wouldn't do what there doing and im pretty sure you wouldn't know what the @#$% to do and if they had to find a new career that would be one less crop to feed our nation be happy that someone is helping you keep fresh produce on the table.
