Many tying videos step over the crawling stages and right into toddler speed walking. This is a taking a slow step forward to get down some basics... before the reckless abandon sets in.

Jason....you’ve made fly tying fun again....I was totally bored with so- called western tying methods ( aside from North country spider patterns which I’ve always enjoyed...interestingly reminiscent of tenkara flies, yes.) but your flies I e found on the web and your vids have inspired me to get back to the vice. I’d like to echo the sentiments of previous commentator....could you perhaps post a vid of working thru the gnarly fly? If so, I’d b grateful. I have tried working thru your tenkara talk instruction but I think actually seeing you do it would be even more helpful. Thanks again for all the inspirational patterns and tutorials.
