When you switch it into 3d you most give it positive pitch with the fw450 or it will drop and crash like in this video. I don’t know why he thought it would continue to fly on its own in 3d when switching out of auto pilot you need to take control of the heli
Correct,on the transmitter the sticks look like they are centered that should have been around 50% throttle but yeah he should have hold the stick up for more throttle and pitch,I don't think I would like a Helicopter with the throttle stick centered like a GPS drone,I think I would remove the spring holding it centered and if I want to fly GPS then just manually center stick 🤷🏾♂️
I did this exact fix, and it got out of control on the first flight after and I had to out it down again. Only thing that broke was the tail fin this time.. does it need recalibrated or something?

I was aware of the concept but forget because of excitement to fly that thing easy with stabilizer. I aimed to fly close to camera I could have flown higher and had time to respond to its movement. I didnt have time to think hahha.
I've noticed these Flight controller: H1 helicopters drop when you switch to manual mode. You need altitude. This seems like a glaring problem that the manufacturer should fix.
i just got this baby too, quick reminder that this heli is just sthing not for a first-step beginner which is the lack of instruction in the manual, parts are easy to reattach ( i popped out the gps cable on the tailboom ,it's literally made me had pull out the "gps box" on the tailboom which is not good for the glue) also the capony is really breakable 🥲 i was just gentlely reputting them for couples time and technically it broke
The 3D function works but the pilot does not work in the 3d function. If he can't fly, he can't use the 3D function. The 3D function is not an autopilot and cannot be.
En cuanto cambias a 3D debes estar preparado para darle colectivo positivo. El punto neutral del stick no te da suficiente colectivo para mantener vuelo a anivelado.
Fly it only in GPS. Fw450 and FW200 are both flawed. For some reason only people with huge subscriber bases get free models that work and the rest of us get the russian roulette crash copters!
