1:57 I think what makes your channel work is not necessarily the flying, but the storytelling. You often, if not always, manage to create this brilliant atmosphere for your audience to completely lose themselves in. Whether it is flying or boating, it doesn't matter. Heck, take any adventure you want to want to take us along in; I'm sure you'll definitely make it work. Go for it!

I would say YES on the non flying scenic video. You are such a good producer - enjoy everything you do. When the notifiication came in about video, we stopped everything and fired up the BIG SCREEN to watch. Good Job !!

There is live beyond aviation. Like many other people I am here for the stories that you tell, not just and only the aviation. A boat trip would be a perfect supplement and nice diversion as you are an accomplished story teller.

I am a retired 75 year old commercial pilot and I used to fly DC3's and Twin Otters in Nu Guinea and New Britain, really spectacular and dangerous flying; can relate to flying adventures in Alaska - have survived because I followed the same professional standards you advocate.Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing your flying experiences.

Josh you produce one of the top aviation RU-vid channels for general aviation. . You have a gift not only in flying but also in filming, I hope to see you at Oshkosh. They should have a special awards category for general aviation video and photography. I have been in Aviation since the late 80s and I don’t think anything has a more positive effect on the growth of general aviation than the RU-vid channel and showing all of the wonderful places to fly, Your six-part series on Alaska was some of the most beautiful filming shots that I’ve seen. I vote to see your boating adventure too. Fly safe.

Absolutely sensational! Everything about this video is very professional. Both you guys are wonderful in how you present every aspect of the stunning beauty of Alaska which as a South Australian I had the privilege of driving around back in 1988 in my trusty 1969 VW campervan. I took a flight above the ice field over McCarthy and this certainly brings back memories of that wonderful flight. Keep it up guys. Well done!

Some observations and comments: 1. It's always a good thing when your landing is "uneventful." 2. Yes, _please_ upload a video (or three) about the boat trip. 3. I'm glad to see that you're not immune to the "hear an aircraft engine and stop mid-sentence to look" syndrome that afflicts all us pilots. 4. You are definitely raising the quality bar for RU-vid videos. Well done!

Josh, I vote for a video on the boat trip also. Love the 4K videos. I frequently hit the pause and scour the landscape for wildlife. Noticed Chris uses a Sony 4K camcorder which is what I have my sights on. The photography is outstanding, editing is first rate and the background music is just right. You could make a living doing this!

Absolutely, please make a few videos of your boat trip. What do they have to do to prepare for winter? In Alaska? Flying wise and just daily living during the winter. Do the boats come out of the water? Do you have to hunt and ice fish for food? What are Seldovians doing in December to pass the time?

Absolutely, create a video with the boating and canoe. Without Aviation you would not be doing it, that’s part of our trips in our plains especially to Alaska, you can’t beat that.

A story from youth unlike one I've ever heard before, "So like I used to help out with the Boy Scouts and we would swim out to some of these icebergs right along the shoreline here and stand on top of them with the glacier behind us, coldest swim ever" lol only in Alaska!
