What a beauty! The images and your voice become one. You have shown us so much about marine life. You are truly an artist and an explorer. You do an incredible job. Thank you.
The rays on their wings in the air is so moving, I'd bawl if I ever saw such a sight. The innate joy of life in it's element in harmony is a great force of nature. It's a shame we humans tend to be removed from it in our heads to the point of forgetting how powerful it is. Majestic footage, what a sea to visit! 🙌❤️
TY4 all yr always lovely, inspiring & uplifting video's bc i❤all God's creation & creator's are HIGH on the list besides just nature itself🌻I've always done the 1st out of 3 u asked if we like yr video BUT I'll go a 4th & share it to let know how much i loved it my talented friend🎉 it's SIMPLY A BREATH OF FRESH AIR TO A HARD REALITY WORLD WE'RE LIVING IN TODAY.. SO DON'T LOSE FAITH OR HOPE BC WILL BE SAVED SOON🙏✌️💞🌍🌠🙌
That looks so fun and liberating. My life is so bogged down that I could never get away to enjoy moments like that so I thank you for capturing them and bringing them to us. I would do anything to experience that day you had out there.
Incredible! That was wonderful! I have been to Sea of Cortez many times and it is wonderful, but what you have captured is amazing! Thank you, I can't wait for more.
There can be no doubt: every type of dolphin is highly intelligent! Any species that goes out of their way to interact with another in such a way shows playfulness and curiosity.
Your videos leave me breathless and speechless every time. Just fantastic. You are developing more and more from a filmmaker of sharks to a filmmaker of ocean life. I'm so jealous.
Wow! That was totally awesome! I love watching your footage of sea creatures, you never fail to deliver. Your editing and narrating are spot on, story telling done with knowledge and passion. Roll on episode 3!
I literally got choked up watching this video! Once again, it really rammed home the magnificence of this planet, its creatures, and the incredible creativity of the universe! Thank you for sharing! 💕
The RAYS....The reason they do it is because they can! As for the aspect of Joy, well that, belongs too us! The Dolphins....I see your point as Joy, I get the vibe of Love and Joy, they Love doing this activity, I get the feeling it was a contest taking place! Just SPECTACULAR!!! All the suffering by people and animals around the world now and times pasted fall pray to the Powers of the Air.
Your videos always bring me to tears. I think you are such a wonderful artist with them. I hope you continue to do what you do. Some day i just know im going to see you on the cover of national geographic! What i would give to be there on the sea of cortez having these experiences myself!
As always, thank you, Carlos. I’ve previously reached out (via one of your videos, I believe) to a Cabo San Lucas business “showcasing” dolphins. Never heard back. How (specifically) can we help those shown in this drone footage? 💙💚💙
Talk about a perfect day! How magical how do you top that? Thanks for sharing I can’t stop smiling so I can only imagine how y’all felt seeing it in person.
Thanks for taking us there. I hope very few people venture out into the water. Not that I mind exploration, but the pristine waters in the S of C look even more pristine if there aren't 150 tourist boats out with people tossing garbage in. The best places are remote and untouched. And they should stay that way.
I love the way the rays belly flop!!! They're having such a good time! 🌊What a wonderful exciting life you lead sir, I'm so happy for you! The dolphins share the joy of the rays!
The rays look like they are having fun. Love this! I am very sure this was even more spectacular seeing them in person. Would love to experience this someday. The dolphins were absolutely amazing too. To see them in the wild like this would be breathtaking! One day I want to experience this! Thank you so much for sharing!
That transition shot from the dolphins' free open water engagement to the captive state of dolphins at Cabo San Lucas was, indeed, a heartbreaking thing to see... but important nonetheless.
Instead of saying that we humans do not understand, I believe that the reason they do it is for joy and that is something that we humans CAN hopefully understand. I always feel disheartened by anyone who thinks that humans are the only ones able to feel joy and/or do things for the pure purpose of feeling that joy.
So at nine seconds in we get to see a whale shark, cool, then exactly a minute later an aerial shot of the coast - does anyone else notice the resemblance? I see a whale shark, complete with the spots! Crazy!!😉
About the dolphins: We went to visit family in Florida. They live on the intercoastal waterway on the Gulf side. One evening they took me to a birthday dinner on an island that you need to take a shuttle boat to get to. On the way back (it was just our family on the boat) the Captain and I got to talking. After I told them we had come from Minnesota and how I wanted to try and re-connect my teenage kids (who were with us) back with nature and the ocean, he asked if we had some free time. He looked at the sun and turned the boat around and cut through this channel. All of a sudden there were 4 dolphins swimming around the boat, including a calf. The Captain then said "are you ready?" I said yes, but I was confused. Ready for what? He already found dolphins for us. He said hold on and put the boat in top speed. The dolphins immediately gave chase. Leaping and flipping and jumping in the wake. RIGHT behind the boat. Literally a meter back. So close I was terrified they would hit the motor. But they didn't. And they followed us, doing this the whole time for what he later told me was 10 miles! It was the most incredible experience. And they were doing it for fun. He said they know the sound of his boat and always show him. He's never fed them so I can't think of any other reason than for joy.
Why isn't this a form of kidnapping, holding against one's will, or to hold captive ocean life? Obviously, unlike the Pacific Marine Institute, location Laguna Beach where the animals are rehabilitated. The dolphins in Cabo San Lucas (anywhere on land) are held against their will.😖
The last part IS heartbreaking. I really do not agree with the penning of undomesticated animal species. Unfortunately, scientists are finding that even plants are more sentient than was originally thought. This is the problem I have with Vegan. I feel that it is a principle of life that some things must die to bring life to others. Even plants eat nutrients from decomposing matter that often includes decomposing animals. I think the biggest key is to live with the utmost respect and gratitude for everything we consume, with a reverence for that responsibility. I think a lot of the ancient Native Americans, I think a lot of them had the right idea for how they treated their food; using every part of the animal, giving thanks and prayers to that animal's spirit for the use of it's body, and responsible hunting practices that ensured the least suffering and the most success for the families and heards of those animals.
@@jvinson4181 We are not in a survival situation when most of us have acces to foodmarkets. Non-human animals also should have the right to body autonomy. Animals have senses to perceive the world, nervous systems to translate their perceptions into experiences, and the capacity to move so they can behave either getting away from negative situations or closer to positive ones, animals can suffer. What makes life valuable is the fact that we have positive experiences (and this is why death is a harm). What is valuable is being sentient, rather than just being alive and why veganism is the only ethical choice. Plants lack the anatomy that allows consciousness and sentience. They have no nervous systems. Life itself is not a sufficient criterion for moral consideration. But if you care about reducing cropland 77% of the world farming land is used to grow crops to feed livestock and pasture for grazing. The expansion of land for animal agriculture is the leading driver of deforestation and biodiversity loss. It takes almost 100 times as much land to produce a gram of protein from beef or lamb, versus peas or tofu. With a shift towards a vegan diet we don’t only need less agricultural land overall, we also need less cropland.
