you forgot to mention thick tail tube and actual belt inside, which makes it look greater than typical mini helis :)

What would be the minimum for the voltage,before are when to land?
@el_phanton8688

but tbh i think 5min of flight time on full power is for that little guy a good performance. Yes, theres stil much air for improvement, accepted, but in my humble opinion it is perfectly fine :)

Hello! I would like to hear some advice from you. Originally i was planning to get a T-rex 470L kit but recently realized there is a Blade Fusion 360 pre-assembled already. I thought maybe it could be a good alternative to T-rex 470L, because i never assembled any kit, but then realized there is this Fusion 180 which is actually belt driven and looks very nice, like a normal heli just smaller :) All i have for now is mini XK K100 heli, i'm able to control it and fly around almost without crashing. Most crashes now are due to this thing being too small and causing orientation loss, and also due to it being quite underpowered and sometimes there is not enough of power to recovery after some maneuvre. So this stuff started to bore me and i want to get a normal heli now. I like big ones but after thinking for some time i realized it could be maybe scary to throw around even 470L, so i thought if i could rather buy something smaller like Blade 230S to practice and then buy bigger one. Now i as well consider Blade 360 too because it's rotor diameter is a bit less than 470L's, but having this Fusion 180 would be interesting too. Though i don't really want to go on hype and spend almost all my savings on buying a lot of helis in a short period of time. I wonder if getting Blade 230S would be a money waste because i may grow up from it fast, or getting Fusion 180 would not play big role in terms of the next size. I guess i want a heli which will stay for a while as my main, or it's not how it works in RC helicopters and you often need to switch on the next one as soon as you got more skills?

Alrighty, so I would personally recommend you either go with the Fusion 360, or the 230S. The T-Rex 470 is a great heli, I have one, but if you are going to purchase the T-Rex, I would highly recommend you get the LM version. Building kits is by far more enjoyable than buying BNF, but it will take time and more money in the end. I don’t personally recommend the 180 for you, I believe you should jump up to something no smaller than the 230, especially if you’re worried about orientation. The 230 is a very simple helicopter with a motorized tail which really cuts down on parts and makes it extremely easy to maintain and repair. It has plenty of potential to allow you to learn and grow on. The 230 also comes with SAFE which is a huge plus for anyone who wants to have that extra reassurance. If you are confident and ready to jump up to a traditional or “real” for a lack of better terms, helicopter, then the Fusion 360 is the right choice. The Fusion 360 platform is really good, simple and up to date. You will get the benefit of a belt helicopter and will begin learning more about your “normal” helicopters which will prepare you for future kits and things like that. The 360 also has SAFE and a really good FBL controller. However, there are a lot more moving parts on a 360 and there will be more in-depth tuning and maintenance required. It’s not hard, just a learning curve. The 180 is cool, but not my favorite, yes it’s belt and flys well, but it’s small and underpowered (imo). Working on it can be difficult because it’s so small. Bigger flys better, so I believe the 230 or the 360 is for you.

Really nice. Would this almost be the same as the Infusion 180?
@mangzrc
@mangzrc 2 года назад
The way they are constructed is very different. The infusion is direct drive both main & tail. This heli is belt drive w/ a traditional pitch slider tail setup. The infusion will have a lot less parts and will be much more basic in its construction. I’m not sure about performance yet, I personally think the infusion looks a little underwhelming, it’s only 3s where as the fusion here is 4s. I will get my hands on an infusion soon.

I got mine, and it flies like garbage. Spool ups are nail biting adventures as it wants to dip rotors in to the ground. I see you spool up and didn't touch a stick, try that with mine and you'll end up on it's side with rotors digging in to the ground. Obviously something wrong with my setup on my NX-8 radio. Horizon hobbies tech support useless. Even sent it back to have them tell me "Nothing wrong with it", that they flew it twice with no issues. And that was the extent of their help. So, until I get some REAL help, it sits, unflyable.
