Flying the High-Performance Freewing 90mm Venom DH-112 EDF Jet! - Motion RC 

Man i love the amount of detail you're cramming into the newer jets for the price, but there's something to be said about the way the older freewing models fly. Everyone should have a Venom in the hangar!

Big shout out for MotionRcs products they continue to impress! Now I was at the field the day James was shooting this video and man does this plane rip! The flight envelop is so impressive and that take off distance with the new fan crazy cool! Well worth the upgrade!

The FW F-22 and the DH 112 Venom are hands down my favorite EDF jets, period...😃👍I know it's been around a while (Ready2fly) but I think this one deserves a airframe UPDATE!!! please. Despite of the shape , one of the fastest freewing jet. I put in mine schubeler ds-51 and 5200 mah. A Rocket ship

Nice EDF, and well presented. btw - you can touch-up those red paint-peel spots with red magic marker (permanent). That's what I do with my Stinger 90. (Excellent EDF, but the red paint DOES seem to chip off easily).

I'm waiting for my silver freewing venom v2 to land in South Africa. Placed a pre order about a month ago. I will stick with the original edf setup though. Great videos as always Bro 👏

the strategy of Motion RC is really fantastic: changing the metal EDF to a cheaper plastic edf and charging more money for it. Same story with the Avanti.

Did they update the wings to have the quick wing connectors? That's mainly what I didn't like about my original one.

Hey James so Is it true the Venom still comes with plastic servos because that’s what the Motion site says and I really want this bird but a 90mm jet with this much speed would not want plastic servos

Please update the included instructions and your website product description to suggest the 5,000mahr packs. Currently the included instructions say "it was flown on a 3,700 pack but you can use a larger battery". Even your website recommends a 4,000 pack - After reading that I researched 4,000mahr packs weighing close to a 3,700 pack - not wanting to create a cg problem with a heavier pack. . I bought two 4,000 packs and now it requires 3 1/2 ounces of lead in the nose. I assume the 5,000 packs hit cg without any additional lead. Had the instructions been forthright and mentioned requiring 3-4 ounces of lead if using a 3,700 - 4000 pack or suggesting a 5,000 pack to cg correctly, I would have saved almost $200 on these two 4,000 packs I will not use. Also I was a bit disappointed the model being styrofoam and not EPP.
