They are both great options, but t I'd steer toward L-39 to start based on price and slow flight. Venom requires a bit more rudder input where the L-39 can yank and bank all day. Also it's a bit cheaper. But they are close and you really can't go wrong. What style bird do you like better?

You'll be fine. She has trainer like qualities with the long wing where she glides with ease and slows down well.

Never flew the Durafly Vampire but this is larger, hence more wing area, so in turn more stable

@@crofty_flyer jepp.. there is a childrens toy from the company NERF .. looks like a little foam-football with a stabilizing tail .. it holds 3 soft-plastic whistles integrated. When thrown the air is sweeping over the whistles and gives 3 different whistle sounds (google for NERF Ball). i bought such a ball for 15 Swiss Francs, extracted the whistles and planted them into the air duct just behind the fan ring. i changed the 12 blade fan (sounds goooooood) to the 9 blade fan (sounds goood) for more efficiency. Now i have the perfect power combined with the PERFECT jet-turbine sound.

Hmm, interesting he said that. They are all great though, pick your poison! I prefer the Venom to the Avanti myself as well. The sound is fantastic

@@MotionRC ...may be that the 1650 kv makes the venom a little bit faster. Stuart flew the venom with the old 1450 kv.

The plane comes without stickers on, so either a plain silver or red and white. Use callie-graphics.com/ and she'd easily make any markings you need.
