Greetings viewers! Join us on our journey to Mackinac Island in our Cessna 182. We depart Appleton, WI from the Platinum FBO and head across Lake Michigan to Traverse City, MI for a quick lunch stop. Then we head north to Mackinac Island to explore for the afternoon and link up with friends. Finishing the day off by hopping over to St. Ignace, MI; landing at Mackinac County Airport and staying the night at the Best Western Harbor Point.

Torch lake is absolutely beautiful and an awesome Small Mouth Bass Fishery. 160 Knot GS is awesome for sure! Really enjoying your Northern Series here. We’re based in Minnesota and do a lot of the flying that you’re featuring here- so cool to see it from a different perspective as well! The Mighty Mack is a sight to behold- your Aerial footage of her was simply awesome! Well done! Mackinac Island is an absolute American Treasure- everyone should experience it for sure. So much history, culture and flavor. Nothing like it anywhere in the World. Some other adventures I would recommend to you guys would be Lake Geneva in Wisconsin and the Brainerd Lakes Area in Minnesota. Some absolutely amazing things to do and see at both. Thanks for uploading this and CAVU and safe skies!

Thank you Mark! It was such a great trip that year. So many memories made with my awesome amazing wife. Oshkosh, Mackinac Island, Canada. We want to explore Wisconsin, and Minnesota more as well. We always have a reason to go to MI though since all of my family is from there and we now have family in WI too. We'll definitely be filming and sharing more from UP north again soon.

Awesome video! My wife and I have been considering a Mackinaw flying vacation so this was perfect. What video editing software have you been using? I have been trying a few different ones and not sure what's best yet for multicam and aviation.

STF in the house!!! What's good brother, thanks for stopping by over here. We love Mackinac and know all the good spots. Hit me up on FB and I'll share everything we know about KMCD and the surrounding area! We go frequently. Right now I'm using Magix Movie Editor Pro. Very affordable (not affiliated) and it's getting the job done. Maybe if I can get to a point of rolling out more vLog's I might consider Premiere Pro........but I can't justify the monthly subscription right now. Magix supports multi-cam but I have yet to try, since on these vLog's I've only used one cam.........the next round will have 3-4 cams synced up. The tutorial on Magix multi-cam seems pretty straight forward.
