Flying to Milan to Attend the EICMA

First of my videos about the EICMA 2018. More motorcycles, scooters and beautiful ladies in the upcoming videos. I was delighted to meet the legendary Schaaf during this event. awesome video Kiddo!! Thanks for the nice words in your description! It indeed was awesome to meet you & it was a great excuse to go on a short break from work :D The only thing I don't like about your video is that 02:23 made me realize that it was a mistake not to see the Suzuki booth :D :D Best wishes from Vienna!!

Every bike looks gorgeous when there is such a beautiful girl sat on it 😍 Because of that, I sometimes found myself staring at some obscure Chinese electric scooters... 😜 Yes, I'm also curious to try those two bikes, especially in order to see how much the Livewire has been improved since I test rode the prototype in 2015 ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oVt1ZIWKqBU.html ) 🤔

Salut Jo ! Clairement, ça mérite le voyage... 😊 Par rapport aux autres salons auxquels j'ai eu l'occasion d'aller, l'EICMA c'est un autre monde 🤩 C'est immense, il y a plein de nouveautés et d'animations, on croise des gens super intéressants sur les stands (pilotes, ingénieurs, designers, etc.) et les hôtesses - quoi qu'on en disent - contribuent vraiment à égayer l'évènement en le rendant vivant. Bref, ce ne sont pas juste des motos immobiles et éteintes dans un salon.

Oui, ça vaut le coup d'aller jusqu'à Milan pour le salon, aucun doute la dessus ! 😉 PS : j'ai tourné quelques séquences avec le Piaggio MP3 HPE, mais également le concept Yamaha 3CT, son futur concurrent. Ce sera dans une des prochaines vidéos 😊

Je la montrerai un peu plus dans une autre vidéo (et le stand Husqvarna aussi) 😉 Par contre, je ne suis pas prêt de l'essayer. D'une part, je ne me sens pas encore suffisamment expérimenté pour une moto aussi puissante. Un jour peut-être... D'autre part, je n'accroche pas trop avec la concession Ducati de Paris (et c'est bien dommage car c'est une marque que j'aime beaucoup) 😔

@@MrKiddoMoto Merci pour avoir pensé au stand husky aussi ;) Vu tes tests, je pense effectivement que les hypersports sont pas ton genre ! Surtout qu'aujourd'hui c'est vraiment pas exploitable sur route. C'est juste le privilège le poser son fessier sur une meule d'exception ! Après, d'autres modèles de la gamme ducat sont vraiment sympa, comme le nouveau supermot (peut être plus ton genre, fun et pleinement exploitable, avec du couple et un poids plume pour s'amuser dans Paris). Ça pourrait être un test intéressant... Bon après si tu as du mal avec la concession, tant pis ^^ Hâte de voir la suite !! Continue comme ça ;)

@@benoitclemenceau7757 Merci ! 😊 Même si je ne suis pas fan du concess parisien, j'ai quand même des projets impliquant Ducati pour les années à venir : en louer une pour un road trip en Italie, visiter le musée et l'usine à Borgo Panigale, etc.

@@MrKiddoMoto Si tu vas en Italie, passe par Cinque Terre, les routes sont super tortueuses, avec des vues à couper le souffle. Sinon longe le lac de Come de Lecco jusqu'à Come, c'est un vrai régal. (Testé et approuvé cet été en Nuda, depuis Rennes ahah). J'ai vu que tu avais déjà loué un scrambler ahah ! C'est bien de voir que tu as des projets sympa pour ta chaîne, mais aussi pour toi ;)

Why did you fly to Milan for it? No mc show in Paris?

Indeed, there is a biennial motorcycle show in Paris. Even if I missed the last edition in October, I usually visit it. However, the EICMA in Milan is widest motorcycle show in Europe and the most important in the world, as manufacturers usually reveal their new and future models there. I was curious to see how it is. It's definitely worth the trip 😊

€48.- and in Canada you pay half a months wages to fly half way across the country. The airlines here are bandits.

@@northwest8634 I noticed that some years ago. I was staying in Montreal and I thought I could seize this opportunity to visit other Canadian cities, but I quickly realized that local flights were almost as expensive than my transatlantic flight from Paris-Montreal 😱 Fortunately, your car rental and long distance bus services are cheap 😊

@@nortreblig8761 Haha! I hadn't understood you were talking about those spoilers, sorry! 😄 I don't like them very much me neither. They don't look good in my opinion, and I'm not sure they make a significant difference for non professional riders.
