The first time my dog flew on a plane, he escaped and got lost crawling under the seats I had to put my head under the seats to tell him please come back.😅😂🤣
I've got a pug that will sing on any form of transport. It makes him virtually impossible to take anywhere. I think if I took him on a plane, I'd be thrown out the window😂
Jeenie, I appreciate you and the content you make, so much 😭. You have a way of making people feel comfortable and included. And probably have a barrel of laughs, along the way 😄. Sending lots of love to you and your wonderful family. Thanks for being out here, on the internet!! 🤗
Good job! Take Dexter to the vet before your next flight/trip with him. They can recommend something to help him relax that's either a medication or try some CBD treats for dogs. Got them for my cat one time and helped tremendously.
One example medication I’ve seen is someone’s cat was on gabapentin for the flight. I’ve taken gabapentin before and can attest that it made me verrry chill. YMMV as always and the vet would know the right med, I just found it interesting that it can be used in animals as well
Nari is so adorable and cute Jeenie! I wish I could hug her and meet her! And I love this part! 8:54 Her wave is amazingly sweet! She is so sweet! I can’t stop thinking about her!
I recommend when Nari can walk to let her run around the airport and don't let her go to sleep until she is in the plane and then she will sleep through most of the flight.
Love your videos! Thanks for showing us the how flying with kids and pets can be fun or difficult. Have a nice time at your destination. Nari and Dexter are cuties!
Thanks for this video 👍. Flying with a dog that is so super cool. I would not go to airline with my cat 😂. You would hear her hissing and growling through the same entire flight. Mind your fingers, too 😂
Wow!!! You are one brave mama!!! My nerves absolutely would have been shot trying to keep puppy calm and not upset other passengers. Also, Grandmas are the absolute heroes!! They hold back fires while you’re busy putting others out. ❤️❤️❤️😮💨 Hope you had a big ass nap after that challenge. 😅
I just got back from Montreal and maybe it was because it was around 9am on a Sunday, but I flew through security and customs! It actually threw me off how fast everything was that I totally forgot about the partially filled bottle of water I had. I intended to finish it while getting my boarding pass printed and looking for security, but when I asked about those two things, they were right in front of me as was security! Literally the whole process took about 5 minutes! Lol totally worth having to buy another bottle of water.
There aren’t any videos - it was the early 1980s - but my mom used to fly with 3 ‘babies’. 4 year old me, (defiantly NOT a baby) 2 year old brother, and newborn brother. Flying standby on military flights - luckily there were usually other passengers willing to carry a bag or toddler. Occasionally my dad was there too, but more often she flew out alone while my dad was away for work. Sometimes not a direct flight, and I remember small airports with rolling staircases to board and exit. Other times, flying on a hercules C-130 with no real seats, luggage strapped down in the back, and the back of the plane opened up to load luggage or cargo. Bonus - the Herc is so loud that no one can hear whether babies are crying! When I was 2 or 3 and my grandmother told me she was coming to visit, I had one piece of advice. “Don’t take the Herc”
We flew with dogs long haul many times and it's important to have your vet prescribe special drops or pills aimed only at relaxing them a bit ( not putting them to sleep!!) ...it really works 👌🏻🐶💚
😂i laugh so hard on ur videos n shorts especially 😅 im laughing out lound where i go n home watching u n everyone looks at me im like u gonna watch her she hilarious n rlly cool 😊when u post a new short im like yesss im laughing even my family like up we know what she watching 😂 Jeenie.Weenie thank u for ur vlog nice tips for me n my family for the future 😁 be safe n carful when u fly n travle thank u again ❤
Whenever i watch these blogs, i always wonder what the people around you are thinking, especially in an airport. Whenever i am waiting for boarding, its so quiet!
Whoa !!! What an experience? Would never want to go thru that again. Well, at the end of the day, you're all good 👍🏻. Love you guys. Take care. From Redondo Beach, Los Angeles. 💯❤️🤍💙🫶👍🏻👏
I’ve traveled with my small dogs over the years pre and post 9/11 and never had an issue. My dogs settled down immediately and slept. Once in first class, husband took poodle out of her carrier and the flight attendant never said anything to him. She was aware the dog was on his lap and she only made eye contact with husband. Maybe it was like “don’t look at the dog and don’t see the dog,”.
Next time you take your dog on an airplane, make sure to go to the vet and get gabapentin. I have a cat that's about 12.5 lbs, has very high anxiety. So for a 4-Hour flight from Jersey to Colorado. Just makes them a more relaxed, being a motion sickness pill for cats or dogs.
