So many bands make covers of Christmas songs. It really is refreshing to see an original one by such a modern band, and even though I am not religious, this is a beautiful song. As a matter of fact, I find that the religious Christmas songs are the loveliest.

Love this song! It always helps me refocus my gaze to Christ when it gets closer to Christmas time because it’s so easy for us to get caught up in material things and things that are nothing more but distractions in this life.

This is a tradition for me to listen to this every year around Christmas, it always make me cry, in a good way. I feel that today Christmas is no longer about Jesus, and it makes me sad, but atleast I can celebrat it for what it is.

this song is great for CHRISTIANS because it tells about how awesome our LORD GOD is. it is verry appealing to those who aren't saved or religous, because with this song they have the chance to change their lives and llive for GOD......WHO IS THE AUTHOR AND THE FINISHER OF OUR FATE, AND ONLY HE CAN JUDGE US. every time I listen to this song I feel a knot in my throat and just feel like I want to cry, because I need to be reminded that Jesus died for us and he was like a human being just like all us. I feel my faith strong through His wisdom and strength.

@FujoshiKira Totally agree with this. That's why Flyleaf is my favorite band. The lyrics and meaning in their songs are truly inspirational. Even in person they are so amazing and humble and appreciative of their fans. Anyone that doesn't like them truly doesn't know what they are missing.

This song saved my life once, when I felt there was nothing to live for. When I thought that God hated me, and I in return hated him. Until I heard this song. I broke down and cried. I gained a strong sense of religion that I had never had before and I never wished for death again.

This song makes me want to ball my eyes out.. think about it we as people are filled with just so much sin. were just absolutley covered in it. yet still Jesus was still nailed and hung to a cross so that we could have Freedom and the sins could be washed away despite the fact we still continue to sin

@@seaghost1339 I don't normally go out of my way to reply to comments in the comment sections of videos, but throwing words like that around is exactly why people dislike talking about beliefs. It is beyond just possible to be a believer of god one day, then after events unfold, to no longer believe the next day. I know personally, I've been there, to a point where I honestly couldn't believe God existed, and if god did exist, they were beyond cruel. To say someone never believed in god simply because someone loses faith in what people are told is a loving and caring being who watches over us, is simply unreasonable. The issue I see constantly happening is Christians act all holy and are above people who don't believe. Rather than helping, they hold their beliefs over their heads. I know I'm not the only person who sees this either, I hate to be someone who quotes things, but in one of my favorite DC talk songs (Which came out in 1995 24 years ago.) they speak of the same issue "The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today Is Christians who acknowledge Jesus with their lips Then walk out the door and deny him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable". It's the very reason non-Christians often think Christians are giant walking hypocrites, saying to live one way while acting the exact opposite way.
