A compilation of screenshots beginning at my earliest days of joining the Flyout test team. This era of Flyout was set on a planet with an Earth height map that was partially submerged. Fuselage parts were procedural in length only, and although wings were also procedural, they were more primitive. Most parts were prefab, although for a brief time the engine creator/testing area was functional (but extremely buggy). There were some preset missions such as: climb to 40,000 ft, land on the nearby oil rig, and complete the air race on the track next to the airfield. Completing some of these would unlock an engine part. There was also a tanker for AAR, but it would sometimes bug out and crash if it was flying near certain headings. Finally, there was an enemy fighter you could fight against, but it was pretty limited in its capabilities.
The versions that were in place before I joined the testing team took place on a smaller 1/10th-scale procedural planet with some minor gameplay differences, i.e. a cargo delivery mission (fly from one spot to the other) and a very, very early multiplayer implementation.
