FlySky FS-i6 Simulator Mod By The RcJoSh aka SHiRiSH
I have done some mod with FlySky FS-i6 Tx & FS-A8S Rx to connect with Simulator.
Spend it up for y'all. Hope you like it.. Fly-Crash-&-repeat
Required Things:
1. FS-A8S (PPM) Receiver or anyother PPM reciever also work fine
2. Old USB cable for Power supply
3. 3.5mm AUX cable
4. Heat Shrink Tube
5. Soldering Iron
6. FlySky FS-i6 Tx
7. Laptop with SmartPropo Plus windows application

Thanks for sharing this, I'd be happy to ask a few questions before I do it, 1.There is a delay between the remote and the computer. 2. Can I connect this to my phone? 3. What is required to download in order for this to work? Thanks in advance. Good Day.

What is the point of doing all that work when all you need to do is connect two pins of the socket at the back with the 3.5 mm stereo jack and it does the same thing?

I believe because it's now wireless so no chord tethered from transmitter to laptop.

A simple wiring diagram would make this far easier to understand - or a voice-over... so you connect the receiver's power to the USB power, but the receiver's PPM signal wire to which, the tip or the ring of the 1/8" audio jack?

The tip. The ring gets connected to ground. A 3.5 mm jack has always data on the tip and ground on the other side of data. If there are additional rings, its data as well, unless you have apple headphones before iphone 7.

@@JakubKraus0yes, that was my point - he shows a stereo plug, hence TWO rings - thus I wanted to know if it was the tip or the middle (data) ring. The TOP ring is ground (sometimes called the sleeve)

OK...so after 2 days of trying to get this tutorial to work on my lap top....i fianlly decided to think out side the vids...i have a hp pavilion and mine requires the mic to be at the OPPOSSITE end of the 3.5 plug,,but wait thats not all...i also had to use a 4 way plug, and NOT a 3 way..these cables in the vids ive seen dont work with my laptop..
