Sorry, I must have missed your comment! That is really strange! You might want to check if you have all drivers installed correctly. If there was a CD with your cable, please install the drivers from there. If not, please open up device manager and try to install a driver from there. Maybe the vendor of your cable has a driver that for some reason was not detected by windows. Good luck!

Technically it should work but some USB cables only allow data transfer for flashing your transmitter. Please check if your cable can actually send PPM input to your laptop.

Hi GameHD2004, you probably have the same issue that the user above has. I too have a cable that does the exact same thing because it is not compatibe with simulators, meaning that it does not transfer stick input.

Hi, are you sure that you have a cable that is compatible with your sim? What you are describing sounds like a problem that occurs when a non-compatible cable is used. Please remember that some versions of this controller do NOT come with a sim-ready cable.

Hi, the red flashing is totally normal. Mine does that as well. Did you try to use trainer mode? I have not played LiftOff in a long time so I don't know if there is an issue with controller support.

@@dailycompute thanks for the response, bro. After hours of tweaking and researching i still cant make it work. I finally bought another usb dongle and it works now. If anyone came across same problem with me try one with switches on the side of the dongle. Hope it helps. Cheers, bro!

@@mamimumumemo I got the same as you, tried to use it for Liftoff, however failed during calibration on Liftoff, may I know which switch option did you use it?

You could try a different USB port - if that does not help your cable might be faulty.

Try a different USB Port and check of your Dongle supports sims

Yes it is! Now there’s ppm and joystick in joy.cpl but I can’t get it to calibrate properly. The sticks move in simulator but it shows that my stick is at bottom left and i have very little stick movements.

@@shaneelly3579 did you do the stick calibration unter the joy.cpl menu? Sounds to me like you didn't at all or maybe didn't do it properly. You seem to have the right cable. Maybe try trainer / student mode on your flysky as well?

AuthorizedFlight I did the stick calibration under ppm. Am I supposed to have Gioteck wired controller under joy.cpl like you have in the video? I only have joystick and ppm under joy.cpl

@@shaneelly3579 No, the Gioteck controller is just my normal xbox-like controller. No need to have that in there as well. Your problem seems a little strange to me. Please try the calibration again. You might have accidentally mixed up your axis during this. Which sim are you using? Does it support PPM controller input? After the calibration, does your input look similar to mine under the "test2" tab in joy.cpl?

Do you see the PPM Controller in your settings? If not, chances are that you have a cable that is only good for flashing firmware. I made the same mistake myself with the first cable I bought.

If your computer does not recognize your cable at all, chances are that you are not using a SIM cable :/ there are two versions of this cable, one for SIM and one for flashing your transmitter.

Hi Toby - In der Beschreibung des Kabels steht "Nicht kompatibel mit dem Flugsimulator"... Hast du das Kabel getestet?

@@CountryMaster16 Leider nein. Es gibt zwei Versionen dieses Kabels. Die eine Version kann nur flashen und die andere Version kann nur Stick-Input übertragen. Bei manchen Funken ist das Kabel zum flashen dabei. Damit wirst du allerdings nicht im Simulator fliegen können.

Läuft bei dir 🤙🏼 Jetzt muss nur noch ne Anleitung dazu kommen 😉
