i dont know why but channel 3 seems to be the magic number! stressed for hours about not binding and soon as i did it step by step as you did, it worked!

I got a quick question. 0:43 Do you have to remove the bind plug right after you bind the transmitter and the receiver? Can you leave it connected to the receiver? For my application, I always left the bind plug connected to the receiver. Is that bad or it won't hurt anything?
Yes you should remove the bind plug because you are actually shorting the bind circuit using that plug and once the binding is complete there is no need of it. If you left it as it is, it will still work I haven't faced any problem yet. But you might need to bind your tx-rx again. When you reconnect the receiver and bind plug is connected already, it may go to the blinking state and then you have to bind it again.
Ooh... No wonder the receiver always blinked every time I power recycled the rx. I always thought it is normal, because like you said I was always able to operate my device afterward with the bind plug connected. So, does this mean that once you bind the tx with rx, you never have to bind them again? thank you for the reply. :)

Hello fellow RC hobbiest. I got a question about this transmitter. Is there anyway at all to turn OFF the display after binding the transmitter and the receiver? Display will suck all the battery power very quickly. No wonder this transmitter requires 8 batteries... :)
I have a fs-i4x TX and fs-a6 rx. Both came pre blinded. I would like to set throttle (channel 3) fail safe to zero. Is that possible? I do not have any fail safe button on my rx. And my TX does not have a lcd screen.
my receiver lost the binding with the radio. its already connected to the fc. can i just use the binding plug and connect th ebattery and try to rebind it or do i need to disconnect it from fc also?
Yes, but you also need to pull out the receiver board from your heli or buy the same. You have to control ailerons with one servo so that you can use the another one on elevators. Do other calculations also like thrust and torque to decide size of your airplane.

i have this receiver and an FS T4B transmitter ,but when i bind them the receiver light blinks but the transmitter can not bind with the receiver even if i press and hold the bind key,i dont know what to do,pls help me

If you are looking for the range beyond 1000m, go for FS-i6 model. I lose control beyond 100m with this FS-T6 transmitter. You can use this same receiver with FS-i6 radio as well.
You sure about it being i6 compatible.. It isn't. I believe that one is a green color with 2 antennae i.e FS-iA6 2.4G 6CH AFHDS Receiver For FS-i10 FS-i6 Transmitter
