In this video we take a look at how to setup the Joystick Simulator feature on the Flysky FSI6X Radio Transmitter installed with Open TX Firmware.
If you have trouble detecting the radio in usb game controller the make sure the drivers are installed correctly as mentioned in the video.

I have a problem with Code 10 drivers... it works on 2 laptops but it doesn't work on mine, I use Code 10... Win 10 do you know how to fix it from the video doesn't work

My computer doesn't even recognize when I plug my device in! No chime, no change in device manager it's like opentx isn't connecting at all. when i put it in boot mode it will find it so I know the cable is ok

Found it! they moved the USB connect option. Now if you quick press the ok button from the main menu you'll have the option

So I've tried a couple of times now following the video to the T but still having trouble with my computer registering as a HID Compliant Game Controller. Any tips are appreciated.

afriad im having the same problem at the moment, have tried everything but computer wont register it as a joystick, did you ever get a fix for this?

does using opentx on mine make the latency better for simulators? i use the default linking cable that came with it in the box and am not sure if it's worse than the aftermarket cables. I get laggy input for simulators in training mode on my radio and dont want to have to buy a new radio

Are you sure the cable you're using is in good condition? If it's lagging is it because of heavy video settings or the connection between radio and pc is getting disturbed? The factory cable works good and I've had no issues although sometimes the cable can go bad and it's easy miss.

@@RakishRc I think the delay is normal now after watching videos of others using it in simulators, their delay seems the same or worse than mine, I think I'm just used to super low latency like with a mouse. Thanks for the fast reply, I'll look for any flaws with it

Rakish Rc, Just installed 1.9 and cannot get my pc to see the controller at all... Have followed your steps but nothing.. I do not have the usb detect option in my menu, could this be the issue?

You need to hold okay button to see usb option in 1.9 version and select usb joystick option for simulator use.

@@RakishRc usb mode joystick is selected... you have usb mode and usb detect, I do not have usb detect only usb mode in which joystick is selected. I'm sorry, maybe I'm being stupid. Pc only sees controller if I put it in dfu mode. USB detect is not in my menu at all.?

This was with open tx but i guess version 1.3 or 1.4. the latest version works better

Windows 11 driver issue...recommended windows 10 however depends on the system.

USB drivers are pre installed on windows computer. Simply select usb input device driver during driver update and re install it 2nd time if error 10 pops up
