Good news, this works as expected now without the need of the exp d/r workaround as 2nd function. Just got my pro and began setting it up. Can't wait to use it. Thank you for your awesome content regarding this radio!
I’m confused do you have to use the throttle dr and idle up I thought the pro was like “low 45, mid 75, high, 100 and it would auto ramp like that do you have to use the line lock? Or will it just ramp itself to low mid then high? And that’s why you use line lock so you can start at low ? Idk if I explained that right
I just added the lock as ppl where asking if you could hold the throttle on 100% then just hit a button and it goes through the range you have set that all,
how do i set the noble pro to launch at 15/20% & then run out my 8 second delay without having to push any buttons? this is for speed runs ~ once the car is lined up & at a dead stop ~ all i want to do is pull full trigger & get a instant 15/20% & then my set delay follows...i hope this makes since & you understand what im asking
The delay would be set same as the delay for a drag RC but I don't think there is a way to just have the throttle start at 20% without pressing any other button? Maybe the dead zone on the throttle but not sure how for you can increase that
@@WTFRCCars ok what if i set only 2 stages & have my first stage with no delay for the first 20% & the second stage with a 8 second delay ~ do you think that will work? I will not have the transmitter til this Friday so i cant test it out til then.
Has anyone had an issue with multistage the ramp time? If I have the radio running one stage for 1.75 seconds, when I hit the throttle, the ramp runs for 1.75 seconds. But if I have multiple stages like L:1.0sec M:0.5sec and H:0.25 sec and I hit the throttle, the ramp runs for something like 0.95 seconds. I've experimented with a number of time settings but I haven't found a consistent pattern.
I don't think most people have any of the stages set higher than 0.2 of a second as most drag runs are over in less than 2 seconds but I haven't had anyone mention anything so far about it.
Hoping you can help.. I got my nb4 set up on my 2-speed crawler. I got the shift setup on a switch on the nb4, but i want it to only shift when its on some throttle, so the cogs engage smoothly. So no shifting when there is no trottle, as the cogs can be alligned badly. Do you know if this is possible on the nb4? If it is, it would probably make for a interesting video for crawler users too.
Right got ya 👍 yeh will be doing some running vids when I get chance just needed the weather to dry up and somewhere to run it, I got a lot to do with that drag RC ;)
