@WTFRCCars I just saw the latest on the updates. I have no models yet on my transmitter. I have 1.0.4std. Do I need to update? If so do I need to be concerned about model exporting?
@fredericktodd5789 No you can just download the update for the version you have and update you pro then update your receivers as you connect back upto them
@fredericktodd5789 yes and it's a really good thing too as most companies just bring out new transmitter every time flysky keep adding new features and functions to the radios the nb4 started off as a basic 4ch radio it's now 8ch and connects to mini z rc's ibus 2 sensors and servos and has a whole bunch of features it never had to start with, that said if you don't want to you do not have to ever update anything
I'm honestly not too sure what you're doing here, in particular, if you're drag racing electrics which are single speed setups. I'll admit right now, I don't drag race. If you're trying to basically perform some sort of launch control, then wouldn't it be much simpler to use the "speed" option within the radio that will limit the throttle aggressiveness to a preset then ramp up to max throttle automatically? This will function much faster than any human can toggle between rates. Either way, you were definitely thinking outside the box with this one! Shows what these radios are capable of👏 One thing to note is that the Futaba 7PX/10PX allows for 3 different stages of "speed" setting to fine tune your drag racer. Guess what, SO DOES THE NB4 PRO! It's another advantage over the regular noble.
The set up allows you to set a % to start from so you don't start at 0 it will start from what ever you want it too say 10% the shift point was just something someone asked if the nb4 could do so I added it for me I wouldn't use it but I can see why people asked me if you can have a start point that is not 0 :) and yeh we have a pro too and that has even more options for drag :)
@@WTFRCCars Okay, I get it. Like I wrote, not sure why one would want to do that for electric but for nitro or gasser where you'd want to put the motor at a higher rev since the power isn't instant like a electric setup, this would do nicely 🙌
Does throttle curve follow the ramp speed or does it only follow physical position of trigger like if I pull 100% will the curve follow the ramp or just go straight to 100%
Kindly what is the difference between the nb4, nb4+ and nb4 pro regarding the launch control or idle plus the dual point and the shift point or shift points? Are they all the same with only two or three points?
@@WTFRCCarskindly I just read the description of the nb pro and it states that it has three segments. Is there some kind of software to download to increase the points?
Kindly do you know why Flysky use three points and the other three top end radios use nine throttle points that can be adjusted separately? Do you think that in the near future they could change the software which could be downloaded to the nb4+ and pro?
Hi! Im trying to update mine and when i plug it on update mode and try to make a backup the fs assistant doesnt recognize any model, the model list in my laptop its empty and in my nb4 there's 4 models, what can i do?:(
My radio died after using engine cut as trans brake/line lock. Pretty sure the motherboard is fried. Idk if it’s related but it’s the only change I made recently. Well I guess I did turn throttle percentage up to 120%
@@WTFRCCars ok, thank you. I have heard nothing back from flysky in response to my email. It has worked great up til that point. I've had it for a year and updated it about 2 months ago. No drops or moisture. It just quit after a drag pass but left blue light for power on. I actually used your video to remove the battery to shut it down. tried putting battery back in and resetting it. I don't think its the screen because flysky assistant will not recognize the radio and there is no sound or power on light.
