Hello, Thanks for your tutorial, me and my team are trying to do a university project with fm radio and you are helping us a lot. Nevertheless, we had a problem during this assembly. We had a screeching noise when we plugged in the 5767 tea. Do you know where this type of problem could happen? (I tried with 2 raspberries 3b + and 3b, another tea5767. Maybe this is my 5v supply?) Thanks in advance for your reply.

Can this be used as a receiver (in correct frequency range) of signals generated by security sensors and then relayed to the pi as input status of that sensor?

I'm not sure. Maybe refer to the spec sheet to see if that's even feasible.

Hello, Thank you very much for this little tutorial, I've done it and it is working great ! However I was wondering, is there a way to also manage the volume with the keyboard ? Because of in this state, the use of a headphone is deadly as the sound is stuck at max volume ^^

TEA5767 do not have RDS function. Instead, use RDA5807M to get RDS.

Yeah, I found limited documentation on that module so I'm sure that code can be optimized quite a bit.

this is not a tx, is a receiver module. For transmission you would need a gigantic antenna or tower lol

The TEA5767 is a cheap FM receiver that is controlled through the I2C bus. The radio can be tuned to the European, US, and Japanese FM bands Sorry for the confusion.
