Hi Andy/Woody! Nice channel I´ve found here :) I bought mine just the same day you uploaded your video. I´ve bought an older FMS Avanti V1 70mm in perfect shape but haven´t been able to maiden her due to weather. But watching and reading some much about jets I got into it and found this young lady last week. I ordered also another yesterday since in China they are cheaper then in Germany (around 280$ here!). I hope a clubs friend wants to get the second one (that is green) to fly formation :) We don´t have a paved runway but it should work when our moles aren´t to crazy building their tunnels and molehills xD Super nice maiden flight with some explanations! I didn know flaps weren´t specified in the manual. But you´re right. In my Avanti neither so I was watching videos to have an idea of a normal landing deflection. The part you fly trimming is very interesting. You mentioned flight modes and I could here "elevator down" or something like that. How do you trimm your compensation mid flight? I just make a try in the air, land and correct. BabyG looks awesome in the air and you nailed every landing :) I´m pretty excited and hope my planes don´t take a month to be delivered. But now we have a lot of snow and ice on the fields and I wouldn´t try in at a small paved road since the speed is much higher than on other planes I have landed there and with a new plane I´m quite nervous too. So better being alone or with less people at the field :) Cheers and subscribed!
@@lewiemotorsports3616 ok high rates I am at 90% rate 20%expo except rudder , rudder at 100%rate 20%expo Mid rates 80%rate 20%expo except rudder , rudder 100% rate 20%expo Low rates 70%rate 20%expo except rudder , rudder 100% rate 20% expo , I keep rudder at a 100 to always give me full steering ..
Take off 9mm .. landing 30mm start with 5% down elevator on flap settings .. if you can set up flight modes, so you can trim elevator to flaps in flight .. are you running spektrum transmitter?
Hi you say in your video that you have the take off flap of 9mm with 5% down elevator then you have landing flaps at 30mm what down elevator percent do you have
Hello ! They are trying to .. they want you to install a device called rid (remote iD ) to track your planes every movement.. as for now it hasn’t gone into effect … As long as you fly safe and respect people and property.. you will be fine ..
