Thanks for the review Paul! I bought one a year ago to replace the fiddly, open source tester I had. FNIRSI did a great job with its form factor, and the scope is just a very useful bonus at times. The unit has really surprised me with its "handiness" overall. 100% agree with your assessment. Appreciate the content.-jrh

Tempted to get the TC3. Sometimes I can be buggered getting my SDS1102 scope out for a quick check on something. It's a shame that they don't bring out something to do audio freq spectrum analysis and/or bode plotting. I mean its all done by software these days. If a scope can go down below 1 Hz ...

I've eyeing these since they first hit the market. I got the open source code version of the parts checker and printed a case for it. Later I bought an oscilloscope kit and soldered it together so I don't really need one of these but I still want one. I wonder if this can be upgraded with software or firmware down the road?

Hello. What size inductor would produce a 100ms delay in turning on an LED. Also, why do my inductors seem to conduct current immediately. Is it cuz China?

What’s your edc knife? I carried cheap kershaws for years and have no real complaints but I finally splurged and got a benchmade a couple years ago and I have not been disappointed.

This is bottom of the barrel. But it's cheap and it works.

Honestly this is a $25 Oscope combined with a $15 Transistor tester. It's nice to be all in one but at the same time it's quite limited too. If you had bought the transistor testers previously like the GM328A then you could run the upgraded firmware from the original authors to pick up latest fixes and features. The clones are all out there now with questionable clones of the ATMega328 chips and no support for the original open source firmware. Likewise the Oscope portion of this is similar to the white one with the generally superior rotary encoder for input. Generally I have chose Fnirsi over the generic clones as their build quality has been better but on this unit I have passed in both their original and now this updated version, opting to support the original hardware/OSS instead and a better OScope

Iv got the very same one €50 and the component tester gives totally wrong readings.. saying a transistor is a double diode, wrong resistor readings and capacitor readings.. the scope is very good on it though.. so at least that.. but you want what you think your buying.. F-nirsi should check out all the reviews done by people and sort their products out because iv seen ALOT of problems with their stuff lately. So if your thinking of buying this or buying the newer model " the DSO TC3 it has a signal generator built-in which works good too gping by reviews iv seen, just the component tester has problems" you will be flipping a coin on weather the component tester works properly as iv read a load of reviews on the website i got mine on talking about the same problem i had plus RU-vid reviews iv seen mentioning it too.. hope this helps you if your thinking of getting this. 🤔🇮🇪🙏

Pretty nice little tester it seems to me as a novice. I think that the volume was down to zero on the menu. Also my ears are bad with high frequency so may simply have heard nothing.
