Downvoted I think because his delivery is dull and the subject matter is already dull so it's just hard to stay engaged if you're like me, just trying to figure out what welting is. He is very knowledgable.
taut = pulled tight -- this is what he means in describing the fabric of the cushion cover taught = past tense and past participle of "teach" taunt = to mock, insult, tease in a mean way -- usually meant to get a reaction from the person being verbally abused
This is a really nice informative video and you can learn a lot about putting together cushions. I also agree that it is nice when people use a clear voice and a microphone so we can all hear what they are saying. There also seems to be some nice responses and questions as well. Got to love how far video sharing has come. If your looking for other great outdoor furniture pieces and garden decor then have a look at this store here: Not Just Porch Swings. Hi I enjoyed your video very much. May I ask what kind of glue you use on the sponge and dacron. Thank you for sharing this very helpful video with me.
while Mike's videos are not "Hollywood" it sure gave me all the info I needed to get Xpress to make 4 cushions and 4 pillows for an antique cane back sofa/chair/rocker that I got at an estate sale. I was clueless about all this. They sent me fabric pcs & I got my cushions in 2 weeks. They are GREAT and Xpress even fixed 2 that I measured wrong, at no cost to me, which was so kind of them - and not even they responsibility. I am now getting more for another sofa that my rescue dogs messed up. TKS
