So 700x45mm and 650bx2.0". Considering the boost spacing (huge opportunity), why didn't Focus allow wider tyres? I sold my Atlas 6.8 because the tire width was a huge limitation. Seems like 650bx2.3" is becoming standard on gravel bikes.

is Atlas 8 series use different material for it frame compare to 6 series atlas?

Yes indeed! The frame is made out of Carbon and depending on the model, the handle bar is also made out of Carbon. Cheers!

I bought a focus Atlas 6.8 in december 2022. I have had multiple issues by now. I got broken crank after 300km, screws for back trunk are twisted. Now also the rear hub got broken and rear rim got crack. The best part is that support from Focus is terrible even the bike is in garantie.

Hi @FOCUS Bikes. If I want to upgrade the stem on my 6.8 alloy Atlas, I probably have to wait until the new 8. series is available, right? Or can I already purchase the new stem? If yes, where? Thanks and have a nice day.

Hi William, all fine, don't worry :) The frame can run as well 2by (2 chain wheels in the front). Feel free to have a look at the exploded drawing, there you can see as well which small parts you would need if you are willing to replace 1by against 2by: www.focus-bikes.com/int/faq I guess that was your question, right? :)
