Ich wäre mit meinem Focus Jam2 7.8 auch total zufrieden, wenn ich nicht gesehen hätte das im Werk ein Gewinde vom EP8 Motor total zerstört wurde. Ist ärgerlich bei einem Bike was gerade mal 400km drauf hat
We don't have a specific recommendation, but kickstands compatible with our adapter should follow the "Pletscher Mount 19 mm" standard. :) Cheers Marcel / FOCUS Bikes
@@FOCUSbikes Thanks Marcel for the prompt support! I saw the adapter ( the one with the large bolt hole and the two 18/19mm holes) but I guess I was not skillful enough to know how to use it, it is a rear axle to 18/19mm mount for the kickstand, am I correct here? i.e., I would have to remove the left rear axle bolt, insert the adapter in between and then add a kickstand to the two 18/19mm holes?
@@FOCUSbikes Wonderful! I resolved it yesterday and now I have a functioning kickstand! Thanks for the manual! Could you provide a link for the full manual, for example, how can we exchange the crank arms to install smaller ones?
Unfortunately, we do not have any specific instructions for repairs or part swaps, as we rely on the expertise of our specialist dealers. However, a Bosch motor is installed, so the disassembly or assembly should work as with all other Bosch motorised bicycles :-)

Hallo, ich bin gestern bei bunnyhop in Hameln das Sam2 6.9 in L Probe gefahren. Was für eine Trail-Waffe! Supertstarkes set up. Ich bin ehrlich noch nie so ein Bike gefahren!!! Kann mir jemand sagen, welche Griffe an dem Bike montiert waren? Eure beiden Techniker sind übrigens der Hammer, alle Fragen höflich und mit Engelsgeduld beantwortet. Solche Testrides (Möglichkeiten) machen den Unterschied - so ein Bike kostet ja auch ein Vermögen, da macht es schon mal Sinn im Gelände eine Runde zu drehen. Also richtig geil … wie ihr seht, bin ich schon auf eurer HP. Andy

Nice build, thinking about buying one myself after taking it for a short spin at my local dealer. What´s your height ? I´m 182cm and not 100% sure if I should go with the L due to the long reach.
I am 187 cm and ride a size large. I am at the edge to a XL though. So, you should definitely be well equipped with a size large as well. Sure you could size down like Olly does and go with a medium, but you really need to know what you are doing and want that compact ride feel. As the bike comes with a 50 mm stem, you can also go shorter there to shorten the reach a little, if you'd want that.
Hallo Stixi, mein Sohn 14 Jahre hat das Jam2 SL ganz neu in Größe L. Es ist ein Ticken zu groß. Wenn ich die Spacer am Vorbau rausnehme, wird es dann kleiner/kürzer oder länger/größer? Danke für kurzes Feedback!
Hallo Sebastian! Freut uns zu hören, dass Ihr Euch für unser JAM² SL entschieden habt :-) Grundsätzlich ändert sich durch die Entnahme eines Spacers lediglich die Position des Oberkörpers. Somit hängt es ganz davon ab, wieviel ein Ticken ist und ob der Sohnemann da noch reinwachsen kann :-)
As an avid mountain biker I am not the target audience for the road bike mud guard tutorial I just watched. Only clicked because Olly Wilkins was on the thumb nail! He did a top job of selling it though!
Hey Focus Team, just put a deposit on a Limited Sam2 6.0 - thinking of upgrading the shock to a factory unit, either coil or air … can you let me suspension cure info to help me decide if I go DHX2 or Float X2 shock.
