Sometimes you have to take a step back and ask yourself “which aspect of my life can I improve and how quickly can I get there?"
Kara Lawson, an Academic All-American and graduate of University of Tennessee, is a passionate advocate for fitness and personal health. Since being selected 5th in the WNBA draft in 2003, she has played with the Sacramento Monarchs, the Connecticut Sun and most recently the Washington Mystics.
Off the court, Lawson began her broadcasting career at the age of 23 and has become one of the go-to voices in college basketball. She has covered hundreds of games including being a part of ESPN’s studio team for 5 Final Fours.
Kara is also an active participant in the NBA Fit program and is a member of the first Lady’s Let’s Move Campaign.
