Thanks Red Pill, VeganLinked here (AKA neofilm). It's awesome seeing you chime in! His name is in the description, title characters are limited. But there may be enough room. Not sure how much it'll matter, I think it's in the meta tags as well.
I've being diagnosed with severe heart failure 2 months ago with an ejection fraction of 2o%,I have no history of heart issues on either side of my family have no coronary arteries disease i don't smoke, drink or and im very active and in the gym. They suspect its due to covid. My question is; Can a plant based diet help me?
Watching in Wales UK. I'm 30 and have been suffering with my heart for at least 10 years but no help given until now. About to have MRI and I'm petrified. Haven't been given any advice up til now except to cut caffeine. I am really greatful I found this video. It may be too late I don't know but I understand now and I found this video very helpful. Please thank dr B.M for me if manage to speak to him (if you attend another lecture that is). Appreciate the time you e taken to film and upload this 🙏
Very interesting. @41:40 he answers a question raised about PVCs. I'd had that intermittently, but with increasing frequency, and my Dr did the standard tests. At this point, I had already moved toward more of a DASH diet to reduce my BP. She said I was otherwise healthy and we chalked it up to heredity since others in my family have lived many years with it. So I concluded that I'd just have to learn to live with it. After I went WFPB, the PVCs stopped and I was able to discontinue blood pressure meds. I thought it was just a fluke and didn't dare mention it for fear of jinxing it and that irregular rhythm would return. I'm coming up on 3 years WFPB and no more PVCs. From his statements, I suspect that the vitamins and minerals that I used to take were part of the problem putting my system out of balance. I believe the PVCs started before I began taking BP medication, so I don't think that started the problem... but it certainly didn't help.
Man, I've just learned a lot! I have chf. I'm 54. My ef went from 20 percent to 50-55 percent in a year. Very lucky. Gonna try to go raw to help my vascular system. Great video. 3 and 1/2 years now with chronic systolic heart failure. I feel great but I keep learning. Thanks so much
@@Yupp_buddy no, you'll have it for life but you'll feel very good. Your breathing, energy, and attitude improve. It's very hard to do. It's taken me three years to get to this point. I quit smoking 4 years ago as of this December. I feel better now than I did 10 years ago. You definitely have to really want it.
A quick Google search may get you where he is at. There are a lot of cardiologist like him. I've interviewed several and have more to publish that I've already shot and edited.
@@VeganLinked I stay 1hr 30min away that'll be dope. I have to many heart issues at 27 and need to cut everything out and do this plant based diet. Meds only pile up
I have a really good video interview with Dr Montgomery I'll be releasing soon. And there's lots of videos on my channel that talk about the plant foods diet
Baked chicken is bad for you, soooo I'm guessing baked salmon is as well? I'm in heart failure and surprised that my cardiologists know so little about nutrition when it comes to improving heart failure with food.
Doctor Montgomery this is Deborah Nene Besame will not eat right she dying slowly and I know it remember you did the best you could she would not follow instruction that's a problem
Deborah McKnight from the pit to the Palace I weigh 190 actually 249 pounds 4 years ago I now weigh 139 thank you. Amazon thank you dr. Baxter Montgomery 610 at South Main by the blue car wash
@@neofilm I know of another more experienced cardiologist in his eighties now -- Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn to be exact -- who argues very much AGAINST any added oils. Thousands have reversed heart disease on his program that eliminates ALL oils, except that which exists already in whole plant foods. He wrote a book HOW TO PREVENT AND REVERSE HEART DISEASE. I do however think THIS doctor is wonderful. I only pointed out the ONLY discrepancy I saw.
@@tekno7020 My apologies. I am not a cardiologist that I should think to criticize either of two that are obviously doing what they believe is right -- rather than just doing what they were taught that doesn't work!
Good evening dr. Baxter Montgomery this is Deborah McKnight Miss Bessie make nice daughter I'm still here and she is bedridden but I'm still on my journey and God bless you
@@neofilmThanks! I had non-ischemic cardiomyopathy (may be idiopathic). Idiopathic because old age causes loss of CoQ10. I used vegan diet and brought Ejection Fraction up may be 5-10% over three years. EF was still below normal. Not until I addressed the cause of idiopathic cardiomyopathy--lack of heart nutrients CoQ10. But going vegan for three years caused deficient is other heart nutrients--carnitine, taurine, and carnosine. So, I had to supplement with those. Now, I feel great. I think vegan diet helps those with HF due to clog arteries, but help a little with non-ischemic with causes like idiopathic(majority), viruses, chemical poisoning, drug/alcohol, etc.
I'm a 49 yr old African American female with weakened immune system.I live in Wv I wish I could ask Dr.Montgomery a question I have Supraventricular tachycardia. Can this diet help me.What questions should I ask my doctor the beta blockers are making me feel uncomfortable.I wish I could talk to him.
