If you don't react badly to a food group, should you still eliminate that group when moving on to the next food group in the reintroduction phase? Or should you include food groups, cumulatively, that don't disturb your gut as you go through the process?

If you reintroduce a food and it doesn't bother you, then yes, you can continue to eat that food along with the rest of your diet while you work on other reintroductions! I hope that helps!

So if it's an apple and I adore apples, what foods in that group should i avoid?

Certainly whole apples, dried apples, and applesauce, and probably apple juice, though it might be less triggering. Apple cider vinegar would be more likely to be ok, as the sugars have been predigested by the fermenting process that makes vinegar.
