Welcome to my latest video, where I will be demonstrating my recently installed ASIC immersion mining cabinet which is home to my 6 Bitmain Antminer L7 ASICs. If you're looking to make the move to immersion cooling your ASIC miners, this video is for you!
In this video, I step through my first 4 weeks of immersion cooled mining; covering the noise differences to air-cooled mining inside your home/garage, the noise generated by the dry cooler, the coolant/oil temperatures you can expect to experience and how you can adjust the system for different ambient temperatures.
I also discuss potential coolant/water leakages and how to prevent them to ensure your mining operation runs smoothly and cleanly from the day 1. I explore the benefits of using a variable frequency drive (VFD) to regulate the dry cooler fan speeds, keep the system cool and minimize the noise generated. I also touch on remote monitoring as the Fog Hashing kit comes with internet-accessible temperature monitoring, configurable temperature shut-off and ASIC-specific power features.
Overall, my immersion mining cabinet has been performing exceptionally well, with low noise levels, high efficiency, and excellent heat dissipation. This setup is perfect for hot climates (up to 35C/95F) with up to 6 ASICs pulling 3,355W each (e.g. L7 or S19J Pro+ models). If you're in a cooler climate (up to 25C/77F), you could run 6 overclocked ASICs pulling up to 5,000W each.
I can thoroughly recommend the Fog Hashing (foghashing.io/) equipment and coolant as well as their Australian Distributor, HashX Mining (hashxmining.co....
