Where have you been for the past year? You Tubes hiding you! I’ve been trying desperately to do my 1st painting but confidence isn’t my strong suit esp with my critical family. I keep buying materials needed but still, i hesitate. Then 2 weeks ago I saw your tutorial. Since then, I’ve watched nothing else but your stunning scenic paintings with the most excellent informative tutorials over and over. Now, I’m ready to try. Tonights the night! Great oil paintings. It's good to paint oils indoors, but I like to travel, so I bring more convenient tools to paint landscapes with watercolors.

this was very inspiring ! I paint with acrylics in a style similar to this . One technique of the old masters I have learned to apply is ,rather than use tube black , create a more natural "black" by layering reds,browns and greens together until they are as dark as you can get them . It will make your darkest darks more vibrant and pop more where you need them to do so .Great use of reflected light and unification of colors in this piece !

Oops I am 17 minutes late, I have followed your 10 tutorials. N I will soon follow more :-D I think I will be the first one to follow most of your tutorials :-D what I like the most is you use simple colors and make beautiful paintings out of it. I want you to do the tutorial on balloon house please please , thanks in advance , I started painting 6 months ago before that I had never even held a brush in my hand . n I am very happy with my progress. It is all beacause of you and firstly it was bob ross. Anyhow thanks alottttt.

I presently work in water colours but after watching this I am sure I will be running to the store to buy a set of acrylic paints and start trying some pictures in acrylics. Maybe I’ll start to use my water colours for outdoor schetching and then paint my picture of that in acrylic after I come back inside.

He lists all the colors used at the beginning. He shows the tubes and the names of each color. Also it is all written in the description.
