These cartoons gave us our sense of humor at an early age......56 yrs old, so grateful I was part of that generation who enjoyed Saturday morning cartoons with a big bowl of cereal as a kid!!!
At 2:44 I laughed so much and it reminded me how much I laughed at that part as a kid. I really miss these reruns they brought so much fun and joy as a kid.
@@atlante4368 Agreed, even though he's still a great character in my opinion, but not for beating the Barnyard Dawg with a wooden paddle and tormenting him 24/7, and Dawg is actually my most favorite in the Foghorn Leghorn cartoons and the other Looney Tunes franchises along with Wile E. Coyote and Henery Hawk. -Alexa
@@atlante4368not really. Though he’s a jerk, I think what the OP is saying it’s less fun to see foghorn get beat up is because the bratty little chicken is in most of the scenes kind of takes away the fun.
What I like about the Foghorn Leghorn shorts is that there's usually no defined protagonists or antagonists. It's basically a freefall except Henery who nearly always gets off Scot-free.
Foghorn leghorn is so nice, and always gives helpful advice to others. Awesome character all around. These scenes were supposed to be funny, but He doesn't deserve all he got here
3:43 Its funny that old cartoons used real guns all the time like they couldn't do a thing for you, but for some reason everytime that there are arrows they take off its top ans put those plunger things instead
"AHHAHHAH OH YEAH/OH NO FOGHORN?" I noticed that Foghorn Leghorn wasn't one of Sgt. Elmer Gore's favorite cartoon characters. If you read from Marvel Comics Presents. Issues #33 through 38, you definitely would see Sgt. Gore at large. Daffy Duck was Sgt. Gore's favorite cartoon character. I just haven't created a deviant art that depicts Sgt. Gore woth Daffy Duck. ♥️
Honesty Foghorn leghorn was still an Interesting Character, who Was originally a caricaturem Barnyard dawg on the other hand is probably the most one noted Looney tuens character, only appearing in 23 cartoons, with all of them only directed by robert mckimson, and Literally all of them being Country-themed, and hes co-stars were only limited to Foghorn leghorn himself, Daffy duck, Porky pig, The goofy gophers, and Sylvester.
these are the toons my son and i watched every Saturday morning! The "smart guys" said they were too violent, racist or not fair to disabilities like studdering ( porky pig) but that was cartoons not real life. The creativity was amazing.
Hate to say it, but you left out one of my favorites. Foghorn is rapidly trying to climb up a ladder to escape the dog, but the dog is waiting for him at the top with a watermelon. It's part of the episode where the little chicken hawk makes his debut (where he refers to Foghorn as a "Loud-mouthed Shnook"). Of course Foghorn crashes right into the watermelon, and he says, "Some days it don't pay to get out of bed!"
After what what that dog had put up with, I'd say Leghorn got everything he deserved. The dog was sleeping in his doghouse, minding his own business, and that rooster instigates the confrontation. So, I'd say, chop 1 up for justice.
I say his behavioring like chicken a chicken yard with more than one raster catch 22 Marie Antoinette let them eat cake To Tina Turner and Neil Diamond
