yeah... Even I, a non-English speaker, get most of the linguistic jokes and I find them hilarious as fuck. That, and also the fact that Foghorn Leghorn is probably my favorite cartoons character
@Daniel Johnston it's not just USA. Europe, too is fucked up . Ok, I understand not being racist (that's one sensitive topic and I fully support it), but my god! Everything else that I'm saying is analyzed and condemned in the blink of an eye by everyone. And here in Romania (a somehow 3rd world country) things are not really bad (yet) with regards to political corectness and opinion censorship. But you should see in the western countries who are - supposedly - the civilized countries. Holy crap! You can't say anything controversial in there because the pansies get triggered. Yeah, at this pace soon we will have taxes on thinking, breathing, and probably on the mere fact that we're existing, as well. Gotta love freedom and democracy (shit: I shouldn't have said that. Probably both words are trademark of some rich pos CEO loser company who think they've invented life itself)....
Foghorn forgot one of THE MOST IMPORTANT rules of Looney Tunes: NEVER hand someone a baseball bat, and above all, don't ask if they know what to do with it. You WILL get hit on the head.
@@martykeaton182Quite.... doesn't seem to bode well for any of Lava1964's male children who happen to considerably prefer perfecting their rubato passages at the piano - or working on the line and grace of their pointes and arabesques during their ballet studies, does it?🫤 And a-pluscomputerservices has chosen to completely ignore/failed to recognise your consternation preferring instead to show he, too, understands the hidden message - while totally avoiding - or has missed - the bigotry/hate implicit in that message. In the latter case I don't know which them is the more worrying - and in the former, it's definitively Lack1964. Since it is at least a year old - and that no further discussion has arisen - it seems you have chosen not to engage further with them either way. It was probably the wisest option. The sole content of your message was an emoji - a smiley looking up and to one side while stroking its chin - perhaps my imagination runs away but I feel it is safe enough to say it suggests thought or uncertainty about a potentially difficult issue (we might even be able to refine that to one with a moral or ethical conundrum at its core). If I'm near enough, the absence of any additional remarks from Lack64 is open to wide ranging interpretation but Occam's Razor suggests he has either quietly chosen to melt into the background, realising that any attempt at defending his position would firstly confirm what we already suspect and additionally keep digging when anyone with more humility and good graces, would have long put down their shovel. It helps to motivate self reflection when Comments are there for eternity stored in any number of interested parties' cloud - even if the sender deletes it. Just because Lack64 seems to have tacitly acknowledged this doesn't make him a genius - it only puts him at some level above "stupid enough to continue the discussion aka defending the indefensible" The contribution from Computerservices is less obvious and suggests that, in missing the point, if that in turn signals anything about their capacity for wisdom, it is equally suggestive of similar levels of malice. We can't necessarily label them "possibly bigoted, probably not but also not bright and so, either way, harmless", but again using only the available info, that is what I'd go with for now. Apologies if I had all of this completely wrong or even if otherwise, you found my treatise offensive in any way - although of course I'd be glad if you enjoyed even one part of it. Whoever you are, wherever you are, either way I wish you a fulfilling life full of treasure - primarily of the intellectual and emotional kind but if it also happens to include the fiduciary kind I shall be delighted for you as long as it serves to augment the first two kinds - after all, my dad's best friend before he died was "Humo {his nickname for my dad} the grass is just as brown on the other side" I always adored his superb droll wit. My dad's favourite was "I'd rather be rich and miserable than poor and miserable" in the face of someone annoyingly perky chirping "money doesn't but happiness". Indeed it doesn't but assuming life isn't so binary - well, they are the streets, meadows and plains which I am hoping are the ones in which your existence plays out🙂❤
1:10 That's the second thing Foghorn asked for. First, he asked the boy to drive the ball down his throat, and then he asked him to put pepper on the ball. Turns out the boy takes Foghorn's words too seriously.
I don't know whats worse the fact that i miss seeing good cartoons or that most of the cartoon watching generation wouldn't understand 90% of the old school toons :(
I appreciate all the nice comments about the video. These are the cartoons I grew up with, and they mean a lot to me. Consequently, any comments using the word "gay" or that I consider to be offensive to the LGBT community will be deleted. Please play nice.
Only cartoon like that I can think of is where Chip & Dale come across a sawmill and watch as a tree goes in one end and a single toothpick comes out the other. Did Foghorn do a similar thing for a baseball bat?
'Little Boy Boo' (1954) was reissued on the DVD "Looney Tunes Super Stars' Foghorn Leghorn & Friends: Barnyard Bigmouth". This is the debut cartoon for Egghead Jr. The final Foghorn Leghorn/Egghead Jr cartoon 'Crockett-Doodle-Doo' (1960) is also included on this DVD. Sadly, the second Foghorn Leghorn/Egghead Jr cartoon 'Feather Dusted' (1955) isn't also included, but an unrestored version is included in the DVD "Saturday Morning Cartoons: 1960s Vol. 2". Fortunately, all three Foghorn Leghorn/Egghead Jr cartoons are available individually at a much more affordable price individually from Amazon Video and iTunes.
he daid "i say, i say there's something yyeeeee about a boy that never played baseball" the yeee word is just a expression of disgust, disappointment or disbelief about the boys character.
To this day when my kid is pitching , "throw him some pepper" is part of my in-game chatter. I did not know why until know. Didn't realize the influence that this old blowhard has had on my life!
So many innuendos. EYY BOY TAKE DAT BALL OUT OF YO MOUTH! there’s something I say there’s something kinda YEEEËIÎÈH Put it right down my throat I say I say there was something kinda Yeeeeeah goin on back then…
This is an outrage. Insulting his gender and his sexuality. Warner brothers cartoons owes the LGBTQ community a public apology and everyone needs to lose their jobs. We need to start an online partition. Whose with me?
Fucking snowflake. You don't like it, then stay away from it. You pussy liberals are constantly being gas lighted by mainstream media over anything. Give it another 20 years under your bullshit and the country will be muted.
